Chapter 562 Relentless Confession (13)

When Percy Stanton got in the car, Isabel Smith remained silent, refusing to look at him.

On the way back home, Percy kept initiating conversations with her, but Isabel acted as if she didn't hear him.

As they were approaching Isabel's building, she suddenly turned around. Through the rearview mirror, she glanced at Percy who was focused on driving. His handsome face, fair skin, and the faint red marks of her fingers were still visible. She hesitated for a moment before finally speaking in a soft, feminine voice, "Percy, I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what?" Percy asked, turning his head questioningly towards Isabel.

Lowering her head slightly, she said sheepishly, "For hitting you at noon."

Only then did Percy recall the incident. He casually touched his face and replied, gazing at Isabel with a hangdog expression: "It's alright, Isabel. From here on, every time you hit me, I'll pin you down on the bed once. This way, it's fair. Don't you think?"

Over my dead body!
