Chapter 594 Romantic "Encounter" (7)

Raymond, biting his spoon with an innocent face, continued to ask, "Dad, am I a burden too?"

Even though it was an innocent question from a child, Percy and Isabel's expressions instantly turned awkward, and a wave of pain even welled up from the bottom of Isabel's heart.

Raymond didn't notice the change in Percy and Isabel's expressions. He scooped up a piece of cake with his spoon and happily took a couple of bites before continuing to ask like a curious baby, "So, children with a father and mother are not burdens, right?"

After saying that, Raymond tilted his head in thought and then looked at Percy with bright, crisp eyes, "Dad, does that mean if I have a mom, I won't be a burden anymore?"

While Percy seemed impatient with Raymond at times, after all, blood is thicker than water, and Raymond was his own flesh and blood. He had even raised Raymond with his own hands from a very young age, so deep down, he truly loved him.
