Chapter 630: I Choose to Like You (3)

Percy Stanton watched Isabel Smith eating the porridge, his mood becoming somewhat indescribably helpless: "Raymond Thompson has never had a mother since he was a child, and all along, I think I, as a father, can give Raymond anything he wants. It's no big deal whether or not he has a mother. But it's only today that I realized that I can't even give the blood that decides his life and death."

Percy rarely revealed his thoughts in front of others. After saying this, he lowered his head slightly, seemingly very seriously scooping porridge for Isabel.

His mouth, however, did not stop: "If it weren't for you being here today, I wouldn't have been able to ensure that Raymond would have survived when the blood was brought in."
