Chapter 642: A Young Girl's Feelings Are Always Poetry (5)

Raymond was willing to share his troubles with Isabel, but he still didn't want his father to know about them. So when Percy entered the room, Raymond immediately lay down properly on the bed with a particularly well-behaved tone, looking at Percy and calling: "Father."

Percy didn't notice his son's sudden change and just nodded, casually asking, "Have you eaten yet?"

"I have eaten." Raymond obediently replied, his hand buried in the quilt, twisting it tightly. He wondered if his father had heard his secret thoughts.

Percy just glanced at Raymond and then turned to look at Isabel, asking her gently, "What were you two discussing just now?"

Raymond's expression suddenly became nervous, his hands tightly clutching the quilt and his little face looking reddened as he stared at Isabel.

Seeing Raymond's scared look, Isabel couldn't help but feel a little amused. Still, she tenderly stroked the uninjured part of Raymond's head and said to Percy, "We weren't talking about anything."
