The Public Security Bureau was always a gloomy world, the eerie quietness pervading within. Elijah Smith walked with an unhurried pace, his footsteps echoing around his ears.
Pushing open the door of an office room, Elijah Smith hadn't spoken yet when a young man looked up and said, "Hello, how can I help you?"
"Hello." Elijah Smith's voice was a bit strained as he walked over to the young man and moistened his lips before saying, "I'm here to turn myself in. Who do I speak to?"
The young man couldn't imagine how someone who looked bright and handsome could be a criminal, so he hesitated but then stood up and said, "What type of crime are you turning yourself in for?"
"Business..." Elijah Smith paused before adding, "Economic."
The young man nodded, then sat down and made a phone call, relaying everything Elijah Smith had told him. After hanging up, he said to Elijah Smith, "Please follow me."
