Chapter 95: I usually don’t lose it (1)

The police station's night shift was only staffed by one gentleman, a little on the older side. When Chen Enci walked in, he was dozing off with a cup of goji berry water in his arms.

Probably hearing someone "report their own self as missing" for the first time, he was instantly amused and woke up: "Miss, you've drunk quite a bit. Don't wander around outside anymore. Go home early."

"I didn't drink much. I can really hold my liquor..." Chen Enci, trying to sound sober in front of the policeman, sways unsteadily. She almost collapsed on the floor but managed to grab the edge of the table in time and slumped onto the chair.

Realizing she was caught bragging about being sober, a drunken Chen Enci reached up to touch her face over her mask, murmuring a feeble justification, "Well, it's just me being not so tolerant to alcohol today...And that's why I lost myself... This doesn't usually happen..."
