Chapter 331: The Hands are a Bit Too Tender

"..."

Chen Enci took a while to realize what he was referring to, and subconsciously looked at her own hand.

It was utterly embarrassing that her hand clenched tightly with the substance seeping from between her fingers, trickling down her hand onto the aching wrist of hers.

With just one glance, Chen Enci buried her flaming face into Qin Jie's shoulder.

Qin Jie chuckled lightly, hefted her up and moved her to the washbasin with his foot nudging the bathroom door open.

He stood behind her, enveloping her in his embrace, turned on the faucet, and lathered her hand under the water stream. His movements were relaxed as if he had all the time in the world. Yet, watching him clean her hands, Chen Enci felt weak at the knees, too overwhelmed to speak.

Qin Jie gently cleaned each of her fingers, took some tissue to dry her hand. He noticed her red palm and tenderly massaged it, chuckling as he commented, "Your hand is too tender."
