Preliminary Tournament Pt.I

A miniscule gelatine substance sneakily, passed through the starkly silent narrow alleys of the city.

Honestly, it was in quite the rough shape, although one wouldn’t be able to tell at a single glance.

It started out in the form of a child, roaming the streets in search of something. However, the moment the mist took notice of the strange being, it attacked relentlessly, barely leaving a moment for the slime to survive.

Were it not for the slime’s quick reaction, it wouldn’t have survived at all. Or rather, it was luck that diverted the mist’s attention at the very last moment, allowing the slime to escape with just this tiny bit of itself.

The wad of slime slowly rolled to a stop in the crevices of the cracked pavement, as if to hide itself entirely. Why? The slime wasn’t sure, but its instincts were blaring. Warning it to hide.
