Plan of Action

The first six matches of the main bracket were done. The event was definitely something.

One could just imagine it going down as either the worst or the weirdest in the empire’s history.

I, personally, wasn’t bothered by the future’s interpretation of this event. My concern was more focused on now, as the empire’s people booed my general off her stage.

They turned her intelligent and bold victory into a joke, trying to play it off as her cheating. Not only was her fight clean, but she’d risked quite a lot by going with that plan.

Wights possessed extremely fragile bodies. In exchange for their immense magical powers, their bodies were left as nothing more than hollow, weak vessels. Over time, the bodies would break apart until there was nothing left of them.

It went without saying that taking physical damage only hastened the process.

Refusing to use her shield and opting to instead take on the attack was a very big risk, but she took it in order to win.
