Becoming her saviour

I walk into the front door of a rundown shack, this is the house that belongs to Hannah, the one with healing magic.

I knock on the door, to hear no response. I knock again, and I could only hear a muffled scream.

I open the door and look insde, the village didn't have any locks. Hannah was on the ground, her mouth gagged as some muscular men were standing over two dead bodies. The two men were like gorillas, their muscles ridiculously large.

I look at the bodies on the ground, and those were the farmers Hannah was living with- her adoptive parents.

Hannah was crying, muffled screams coming from her gagged mouth as her head bled, she probably got hit while she resisted.

The house had an eerie silence, the two men were whispering to eachother. Not sure what they were talking about. The only noises heard were the muffled screams and the occasional creak of the floorboard.

I never fought before, my heartbeat was so loud I could hear it clearly.

I walk into the room, catching the attention of the two men, as well as Hannah's.

What... Am I doing? I should have ran and gotten mother, she'd have pummeled these guys easily.

But if I ran, then Hannah might have died...

Shit, I didn't want someone's death on my hands. But I didn't want to die either so...

My only choice was to fight - and win.

I used command on them, making them stand still for 5 seconds. Apparently that was a high level command as I got a headache immediately after, but it worked.

I grabbed the knife my father gave me for safety that was inside my shoe and ran towards them, I stab the knife into the neck of the man and at that, five seconds had passed.

I was sent flying into the walls of the house, breaking the wooden wall as I was sent pummeling into the floor.

The man came outside, seething with rage as tears went down his face.

"YOU KILLED MY BROTHER, YOU FUCKING BRAT" The man had shouted so loudly that it grabbed the attention of the villagers, and as soon as they saw his muscular body covered in blood they ran away instantly, knowing it was probably a murderer.

Instantly getting up, I stare at him in the eye. My left hand was bleeding as a piece of wood stabbed it, tears falling from my eyes as the pain was something I had never felt before in my life.

Grabbing and then throwing the piece of wood away, I looked at him in the eye. I no longer had my knife, it was currently stuck inside the other man's throat. I didn't have any skills that could be used.

I needed to stall for time, but the headache I was feeling clearly told me I was at my limit, but it didn't stop me.

I used command once more and made the man stop for an entire hour, but in the end all I received was a measly 3 seconds. Even though the amount was so little, my headache doubled making me grunt. I couldn't run, the pain in my head made my legs feel numb as well.

The man approached me faster and faster, I was about to scream before I saw a fire ball pulverising the man's face. I turned around and looked behind me, to see my sister Ann there with a slightly annoyed look.

"Dumbass, you should have gone and called mom." My sister said, looking at me like I was an idiot. She was especially staring at the wound on my shoulder, her lips shivered as she thought of the pain.

"Well, atleast you saved the girl inside." My sister actually praised me, making me feel pretty good about myself.

I lift myself up despite the pain and walk over to Hannah, who was lying on the ground. I untie her, as well as ungag her mouth.

She instantly jumps up and runs to her dead parents, hugging their dead bodies as their blood covered her face. She mourned over her parent's death, it was painful to watch. Even Ann turned her head when she had seen this.

I turn around ready to leave when I feel a tug on my shirt. I turn around to look at who it was, and it was none other than Hannah who was still crying.

"T-Thank... you." She said, stuttering as she wiped the tears off her face. Looking at me with desperation, she jumped up, her arms embracing me as she went in for a warm hug, crying on my shoulder I couldn't say anything. I couldn't move, I couldn't console her, I just stared, before putting a hand on her back and returning her soft embrace.

This was... Too much.
