Chapter 76: Hunt for the Golden Doe

The chorus of a few crows cawing raucously on the branches of the conifers where they had chosen to perch themselves. The birds squawked noisily as they flitted behind the woman who had entered their domain. Their dark feathers and watchful eyes turned in order to study her curiously as she scoured the forest floor to catalog the flora she found there. The crows, unperturbed by her presence there, hopped next to the curious woman with the doe colored hair and the clever eyes to observe her more closely whilst she stopped amid the trees.
