Resting Up

"Boss!" Everyone shouted at the same time, standing in attention the moment they see the man in front of them, startled and slightly scared.

"Sir!" 

"Father!" 

"You're awake!" 

"Of course I am." The man said, carefully making his way to Eclipse, reaching his hand out to the man. 

Staring at his outstretched arm, Eclipse took a step back, feeling a sense of dread overtake his entire body but he could not seem to understand why that is happening, even as he bumped into Aseko's chest. 

"Kid?" Aseko asked, placing a firm hand on his shoulder. "What's wrong?" 

"Nothing." Eclipse said quickly, not looking either of the men in the eyes. "It's … nothing." 

"Father, what happened?" Aurora asked, rushing to the old man's side. The old man who refused to take his eyes off Eclipse. "Father?"
