Death and Life

Yonah stood at his feet, looking between the both of them, confused, "What are you two talking about? How can something that ... simple lead to Eclipse's death? Isn't that a little bit harsh?"

"No," Eclipse said, not turning to Yonah. "In fact, complete annihilation is a relatively kind punishment. Deities are not supposed to work on their own desires."

"But you are not a Deity," Yonah argued, turning to the other two. "He isn't a Deity, he should not be held by the same rules as we are. Isn't that just unfair?"

Willow sighed, turning to Eclipse to Yonah, "I admire that you wish to protect him, Yonah but I need you to understand that actions ... they have consequences. And, in case you have forgotten, even if Eclipse is not a Deity, he had several Deities involved."

Yonah paused, remembering the banquet and the jade stone before sitting back down with a look of horror on his face, burying his face in his hands.

"Oh no."
