Among the students that take part in the competition, there are ten students that stood out. Of course, those ten students were the top ten. For Illi and also for most of the spectators, there are six students that stood out. The top six students, putting aside the three students, to be specific, Fortis, Lillith and Angelus, the other three were the one who caught Illi attention.

They were around eighteen years of age but they were able to channel their element root and form a vague smoke elemental aura on their movement.

Spiritual root or element root are the five elements. Each cultivator have their own specific elemental root which will assist them in their technique. The more the elemental aura they channel is condensed, the stronger they are. Each elemental root determine the kind of technique they have to practiced. For those who have earth root, they practiced defense technique and closed range heavy martial arts. Fire, air and water practiced a sharp and fast technique and a long as well as close range technique.

The three students will graduate this year as the academy taught up to eighteen years of age, the fact that they were able to condense a vague foggy elemental aura at eighteen years of age shows that the three students were talented.

Creating of aura take tons of decades. It mastery take years and years of practice.

The three students were in the top five holding the second, third and fifth position. The first position was held by Fortis whose variant elemental root was deem as the weakest. He does not fight or move, just release fog which contain a paralyze poison and easily knock down his opponent. Angelus hold the fourth position by controlling the shadow of his opponent. As long as there is light, there is shadow.

Although shadow controlling technique was Angelus weak move and is not too efficient in using it, it was better to use the shadow technique than using his devouring technique, blatant Killing was forbid after all. Using shadow technique drained one spiritual energy at a rapid speed. Angelus was able to pull through by swallowing the pills that could restore spiritual energy Illi gave him which he kept in his pouch.

This competition does not forbid such kind of actions.

Variants elemental roots are always known for being powerful. If not because they could not prolong their life by cultivating, they would have long become the powerhouse of the continent instead of being hunt down and being 'recruited' by other strongholds.

Little Lillith was at the tenth position. It was not that she was weaker than Angelus or Fortis, it was because her light variant is brutal and cruel, lillith consisely thought that showing her violent side as a person of the Sanctus hall is not befitting of her Hall and of her angelic image. After restraining the strong impulse of wanting to purge the filth of her opponents, Little Lillith took the tenth place.

The top ten received a fist size elemental stone, the elemental stone could greatly aide them in their cultivation. Even Variants can used it to strengthen their roots.

When the first position was about to be given his reward, a mid size fortified cage was brought out. Inside the cage, a white bunny that has a variant of fire was brought out. There were red lines that outlined some of it white fur. The variant white fire bunny was given an anesthetic so it was now unconscious.

The white bunny was taken out and the Decan academy principle was personally handling his academy students who got the first place. The bunny was put again inside a small enclosed cage and was hand over to Fortis. The principle of Decan academy was smiling ears to ears while handling the prize.

Half of the students who were in the top tenth were from the Decan academy. This will boost and bring in more public image and reputation for the Decan Academy.  

The people came to slowly, although faint started to realize that fog is powerful as well. No variant roots are weak.

Although the three children were still young, the upper class who attend the competition were in an apprehended mood. The fact that the Sanctus gain three variants signify that the Sanctus became stronger and that, it will have a strong individuals for hundred of years. Hundred years is not long for cultivator, nor is it short, time, nature and era is everchanging. Hundred of years, just how much the Sanctus will grow is unknown.

Right now, the Sanctus can be treated on their equal level, but after tens of years, things are hard to say.

After stepping down the podium, Fortis followed by Lillith and Angelus was making their way towards the VIP section where Illi seat was placed. A smile flash through Fortis eyes. Today, he  display his great side, even though he is young, he instinctually want to show his greatest and best side towards the person he like.

Standing in front of Illi, Fortis passed the Cage to Illi "Illi" He called out, indicating for her to take it. 

Illi ignore the child who was three or four years younger than her calling her by name. After years of getting called directly and not of big sister or something, she was used to it.

Illi raised her hands and pat Fortis head "Good job, Good job Lillith and Angelus too"

"Do I look amazing?" Lillith asked energetically. Beaming brightly.... Just like an angel.

"Yes, look amazing" It was not hard to answer. "Take a seat now, the adult competition is going to commence soon"

No man land. A place where the sun does not set for thirty days and the sun does not rise for another thirty days.

That was the climatic and time conditions of the No man Land. It was as if a month worth was its day and another month worth is its night.

For this reason, for several days, the competition will be ongoing without rest to sleep. For cultivators, it does not affect them much. At least for a month. But for ordinary people, they cannot go without sleeping.

However, the strangest thing about No Man Land is that, for the thirty sunny days, fatigue does not ensued for that thirty days. It was as if those thirty days was just a daytime worth of one day. But, for the thirty days night time, Fatigue and drowsiness overwhelmed those who took a step on it, forcing them to sleep for that night times. It is an effect that could not be fight or go against, like the inevitable way of nature or mandate of heaven.

Since No man Land had existed for Eons of years, the people of Anarchy Continent is used to its existence and strangeness.

The competition as such will also end before the twenty fifth. Once out of the No Man Land, everything goes back to normal, even the strange body condition. There is no recoil of not sleeping for weeks. This is the reason why No Man Land is sometimes used by practitioners or cultivators for an intense training place.

The thirty daylight times was given a name 'Dawn of No Man' and the thirty dark night times as 'Dusk of No Man'.

Long Qin has an interesting expression while looking at Illi who was caressing the little girl who has a head full of pure white hair and a glassy white eye colour. The little girl resemble an Angel... An angel created by not God but a devil.

He then admiringly stare at Illi, the person that the devil angel admire, love and listen to. To be able to tame such a freak, its indeed admiring.

"Can I take a look at the variant beast?"

Illi turn her head to Long Qin, then look down at the cage on her hand, she took out the white fire bunny and fed a pill by opening  its mouth. The bunny open its eyes shortly after but instead of panicking and wreaking havoc, it docilely stay put on Illi lap.

Since Long Qin asked so, Illi try to pass it to him when she was stop by Fortis, he grab her hand. Upon receiving Illi questioning look, Fortis purse his lips, he was about to open his mouth when Lillith grab Illi hand as well and open her mouth first.

"Don't pass it to him, what if he corrupt white bunny...."

Illi scratch her head but still obliged to the children wishes.

"Long Qin, You can't take a look"

Long Qin was not offended by Illi blunt refusal, he instead turn to Lillith and asked "Why do you say I will corrupt it?"

Lillith scrunch up her nose and answer with a serious face "Because you are very very greedy person.... And.... You are very very deceitful....althou

..although you also have some good person smell.... Its very weird, your smell.... I hate weird smell"

Illi smell of aura of death lingering around her was easy to identify as it was constant but also thick. Since it was so thick, lillith could even feel what the grievance and death aura was about almost like an instinct. Also, Illi has other strong aura, the golden aura which gave Lillith the wrong impression that Illi is an executioner of Evil.

Long Qin on the other hand is a king, a person who can sit on a throne have a hand full of bloodhed. The fight for the ruler position in the unmentionable side is dark and nasty. So many deception and fakeness.

Long Qin is indeed greedy. He want to be the ruler of a continent and not only a kingdom. A ruler of many and unifying different countries by war or by peace treaty and rule over it.

It is a wild ambitious greed.

He is such a greedy ruler but he care about his citizens and look out for the well being of his citizens. He is a good King for his citizens.

Long Qin laugh at Lillith response, he shrug his shoulder and smilingly said "I maybe a bit greedy I guess but having a weird smell.... What a weird child"

"I am not weird, I am a Pure angel Lillith. An angel called the dark angel. Master tell me that dark angel hate all evil and sin. So I am a dark angel, I also have six angel partners that master make.... I gave them a name, Bellial, Beelzebub, Lucifer for the angels with black wings and Uriel, Raphael and Saraqael for the white wing angels. They are the name of angels master told me, I gave them a name based on those amgels"

Lillith refute back immeduately while narrating the following happily aa well, her voice even a bit high pitched because she was excited in sharing things like that. Lillith is a chatterbox.

Long Qin open and close his mouth and gasp "Isn't Beelzebub, Belial and Lucifer a fa....mmph"

Seeing Illi giving him a 'glance', he close his mouth.

He must be the only visitor of Nocturnus base when Nocturnus started to support him. One day, a new person, a 'granddaughter' suddenly appear.

That girl was weird and odd. Scary and twisted but ultimately a very principled person. She was a lawful Evil. Long Qin found her very interesting, he used to nagged and disturned her whenever he visit the base.

The little girl was fed up with him and so, she used to tell him stories to earn her free time. Obvioualy, he was older than her, but she treat him as a younger generation.

But Long Qin smilingly obliged. The royal palace was so wretched and dirty, full of snakes and scorpion, it was exhausting. So, it feels relaxing staying and spending time with the weirdly and uniquely twisted but oddly good person.

She used to tell him stories of fallen angels from a myth he never heard before. Even tell him a myth from a book called 'Book of Enoch'. Those are very shocking concept for the person of different world so Long Qin cannot throw it out of his mind. It leave a deep impression on him.

Even Dark angels, they indeed are Vengeful and hateful to Evil and Sin but they are also known for their brutality. They are the killer of Lord God.

It seems, Illi does not tell all those fact to Lillith. But, those unknown side suit Lillith more than her knowkedge of angels.

"The competition is starting, lets pay attention"
