Chapter 22

They will know. They will know that I am here. They will know that I am still alive. They have known. They have known each other for a long time. Yet still, they will know. And I have no say on what happens after. I have to know what they will say to them. What they will say to my Prince. They know everything, more than I could ever dream off. They can see everything.

They can see me.

XingYing shook his head, which made Hsien Lian frown. "Come on, your highness. He's a human, we'll see him when we get back." Buo muttered, pulling Hsien Lian slightly towards the portal they had made. Hsien Lian didn't want to go. Not without XingYing. "Your Highness, I will be fine, I promise." Hsien Lian didn't believe him.

"Don't do anything stubid, or something I would do. Just stay there, and please don't try to hunt ghosts. That's not going to end well either." Hsien Lian mumbled, shoving Buo away to give XingYing one last hug. "Your Highness, let's go." Buo groaned, crossing his arms. XingYing quietly laughed. "I'll wait here for you, ok? Calm down and go. You can tell me what you found when you get back."

He just didn't want XingYing to get lost, or hurt. Ghosts might know who he is, they might try to hurt him, might try to kill him. XingYing could fight back, but only by so much. He was only a human. They had gotten Fu Hai's temple, using it as a resting point for them. Hsien Lian didn't know how long they would be gone to see the celestials.

"Ugh, you two get a room." Fu Hai muttered, turning around. XingYing snickered quietly, backing from the hug. "You should go now." XingYing prompted. Hsien Lian sighed, before nodding. He quickly turned around to the two punks in front of him. They both had a small smirk on their faces. "I hate both of you." Hsien Lian muttered.

Fu Hai smiled, stepping aside so Hsien Lian could go into the golden portal first. Buo frowned slightly. "Yeah, yeah. We were forced to be an audience." Hsien Lian sighed, stepping into the portal. Hsien Lian really loved these portals, because they were amazing to him. No matter what he was wearing in the Human Realm, he would always be reset to his original form as he went to Heaven.

His modernized hanfu changed to one of the original. His hair floated down behind his head, the dark blue turning into a crystal white, with deep blue borders creeping on the sleeves and most of the top layer. The garment tucked in nicely at his waist, blue, white, and gold shone through. His white shoes were wrapped in ribbon, crawling up his ankle before tying into a beautiful bow.

His hair was a dark brown, combing around to be tucked into a tight ponytail, tied with a light blue ribbon. However most of his hair fell down his back, rare strands laying on his shoulder. He looked down at the golden floor, seeing his reflection. His sharp jaw and nose, his light blue eyes, and red lips. It wasn't what he looked like exactly as a human. Hsien Lia could really remember what he looked like while he was a prince. He held his hands around his back, looking around. "It's nice to be alone." Fang Hai muttered, stepping out of the portal and beside Hsien Lian.

His hair was a slightly lighter brown than Hsien Lian's, with it mostly in a ponytail. His jaw was fine, with rose-colored lips and ghostly pale skin. He had more feminine features, but his sharp nose and feline eyes countered nicely. His eyes were carved with monolids, shadowed from his hair. His hanfu was a deep blue, with black edging. A golden snake was painted onto the silky garment, crawling down a branch. His waist was cinched with a cold and black belt, a blue and black sword by his side.

Chen Guo scoffed, rolling out his shoulders, turning around to shut the portal behind them. "So you contacted the celestials, right?" Hsien Lian asked Fang Hai, to which he nodded. "Yeah, I did. They're supposed to be here-"

A young lady ran out happily, squealing. Her hanfu was a beautiful pink, with a sheer fabric showing different constellations. She was beautiful, with long brown hair and pale skin. A star marking on her forehead. She instantly attacked Fang Hai in a tight hug. Fang Hai sighed, lightly hugging back.

"FANG HAI!! MY BABY!" She yelled happily, hopping up and down. Chen Guo and Hsien Lian stood to the side, somewhat confused by the interaction. Celestials weren't born human. Instead, they were instantly Celestial, unlike gods, ghosts, or demons. Fang Hai tried to push the girl away, but she wouldn't budge. She must be the celestial's assistant.

Another girl walks out, her aura very different from the other. A black fan hid most of her face, her dark black hair hiding the rest of it. Her deep purple eyes scanned the room. She had pale skin, with a black hanfu, purple lining it. She walked up to the small group, eyeing Chen Guo and Hsien Lian. "Who are you two?" The woman asks harshly.

"Hsien Lian. Noble God."

"Chen Guo, God Of The East."

She hummed, turning back to the other lady and Fang Hai. "Wei Shu, please. He obviously doesn't want to be hugged." Wei Shu, so that was the girl's name. At least, one of them. After a moment Wei Shu let go of Fang Hai, turning to the two other gods. "Hello, Chen Guo and Hsien Lian. Nice to meet you. I assume that you two are friends of Fang Hai?"

"Well-" "Yes, we are." Hsien Lian cut Chen Guo off, bowing slightly to the girl, Chen Guo quickly following. "What are you two here for?" The girl asked. Wei Shu gasped quietly, hitting the girl with her pastel fan. "Ming Ying! How dare you be rude to our guests! No wonder no one wants to see us!" Ming Ying. Wei Shu and Ming Ying. Hsien Lian was starting to learn.

Ming Ying waves the other off. "Uh, we're here to see the celestials." Chen Guo voiced hesitantly. Wei Shu smiles. "Well, we're here! What's up!" Oh, there the celestials. Hsien Lian always envisioned them as serious, mean, strict. Not- well not this.

"Well, we need your help."
