chapter45 Friday(2)

~~Friday 5:17pm

Grace spotted Lucas leaning by his car and her exact thought were 'oh mama'.

Lucas is clothed in a v necked shirt. it's long sleeves fashionably dragged to his elbow. he also has on a ripped faded Jeans that shows of his manly legs, his feet are covered in a pair of black sneakers that makes him look so cool and his hair that is normally gelled back leaving out a few strands is now freely and stylishly resting on his head -let's not forget his devilishly handsome face.

'oh bloody mama'

"hey" she greeted

'hi"

"I'm sorry you had to wait long. I had to finish up some things"

"oh no, it's okay I actually come early because I was too excited"

"oh really?" she teased

'oh my God is Lucas Lin blushing right before my eyes?" Grace gushed internally

"you. look... absolutely stunning" Lucas said with his deep silky voice while opening the car for her like a gentleman. it is now her turn to blush.

"you don't look bad yourself"

understatement of the millennia

Friday 5:47pm

the drive to the spa was short. too short. Lucas play jazz music in his car. that Grace surprisingly liked. jokes were made about band and instruments and there was a lot of laughs. so far so good.

get this. Lucas booked a couple's massage. as in, a massage couples. for the both of them. it probably doesn't mean anything but it didn't stop Grace thinking far fetched thoughts.

the Spa house looks great. it looks fancy and it had that smooth realization vibe but the reception service was shitty. staring at someone else's date like he is some kind of piece of meat. talk about unprofessional. Lucas is obviously a fine looking specimen but damn the lady was being too much. Grace had to hit the counter in annoyance in order to snap the woman out of trance. definitely going to complain to the manager. other than the little fiasco with the receptionist, everything else was smooth sailings

the message was a great idea. the masseuse was doing wonders for her and apparently for Lucas too, who would let out a soft moan or grunt that made Grace think not so PG thoughts. they talked about business and work and their stress levels and the economy, they ate fancy little finger food that did almost nothing to satisfy Grace's hunger.

~#best days ~

Friday 9:07pm

spa treatment after spa treatment and Grace was feeling like she was floating on air. her once intense shoulders now loses and relaxed

her last activity was Sauna but Grace bailed. "too much sweating" she said -bullcrap. Lucas booked a couple's appointment that means they would be in a private sauna together underdressed and sweaty so she freaked out and she doesn't even know why she panicked. she isn't insecure about her body. she might not be skinny like the other girls but she is fit and have a great bod. Lucas body is definitely not the problem. then why?

when they left the spa, Grace dreaded the fact that there they had come to an end. but it was fun while it lasted.

they drove in silent with jazz music playing in the background. Grace noticed that instead of driving towards the mainland where her apartment is, Lucas is driving to the opposite direction.

" my house is that way" Grace said.

"you didn't think our date had come to an end so soon. did you?" Lucas grinned from ear to ear. she couldn't help but grin back. she didn't even bother to ask where they going...

Lucas drove to ..coast?

Lucas parked the car and let her towards a yacht, his yacht.

"Ethan used to love the sea" Lucas said suddenly. sounding amused

"Ethan?.. used to?"

"yeah, what six years ago he got stung by to jellyfishes" he chuckled. " it was horrible a bunch of dudes had to pee on him for the pain to reduce and get him to the hospital. he now and gets goosebumps even at the mention of the sea" they both laughed at Ethan's expense.

just the two of them, the beautiful night sky, the cool breeze and the sea. what more could she possibly ask for.

"here we are" Lucas announced

they entered into the yacht and it was decorated with beautiful lights. in the middle of the deck, a table for two was set with silky white linen, a bunch of roses and some candles.

"wow" Grace was mesmerized

"you like?"

"yeah.. I love it"

"have a seat" Lucas pulled her chair for her like a gentleman

"thank you"

" I probably should have asked before bringing you here but, do you like the sea?"

Grace chuckled. "yeah, I like the sea, ocean or whatever water body there is. but I can't swim though"

"why not?"

"I was supposed to learn with my peers but I always got into fights" Grace shrugged

"seriously?"

"yeah. ever since I could remember, I have been getting into fights, standoff and arguments. my dad used to say I should have become a lawyer"

"why didn't you?"

" if I become a lawyer, my arguments would be for 'profitable reasons' where is the fun in that" Grace said seriously. like she was saying the most normal of things.

Lucas let out a stunningly hearty laugh

"I did this" Grace gushed internally "I made Lucas laugh like this"

"so if you weren't the heir of Tang incorporations, what's other career path would you have chosen?"

" I haven't really thought about it but honestly, I don't have the patience to work under other people. before I became CEO, I only endured because it is my family's company" Lucas nodded in understanding "what about you?"

" I would have chosen it computer related career coding, programming, Microsoft and what not".

"so you are a geek" Grace teased

"in the flesh" Lucas grinned

a wait brought out there food which they ate and chatted some more

"do you know how to sail a yacht?" Lucas asked

"no not really"

" do you want to learn?"

" yeah" Grace jumped at the offer

it might be dark but there was enough light for them to sail. besides, the were sailing in the wide open sea but Grace still managed to almost crash and drown the yacht.
