"do you, Grace Margaret Tang take Lucas Lin to be your lawfully wedded husband in sick..."
"definitely!" Grace blurted excitedly "I -I mean. I do"
she woke up in the morning and thought to herself 'wow. this is really happening' and she has been saying the same thing the entire day.
unlike Grace's surprise engagement, that was lavish and extravagant to the quo, with hundred of attendants, all she needed for her wedding is her dress - her beautiful wedding dress and family, her guest can be counted with just two hands including baby Lillian and Cross -an Informant whose life she saved and promised a special invite to her wedding even before he started dating Lucas. a time when she thought she would forever be 'married to the money'. a total of ten people were invited from the bride's side of the family. Ethan swears he's on the bride side by marriage but who is he kidding. meanwhile the attending groom's family accounted hundred in number excluding the ones who were invited and couldn't make it. apparently, not inviting ones maternal Grandma's cousin or uncle's uncle would most definitely lead to guns blazing and who knew; the underworld heritage runs deep in Lucas maternal family and not his paternal's and surprisingly his extended family are quite close knit at least close enough to seemed genuinely happy about their wedding.
the wedding passed by in a breeze. she was in a daze for most of it but no matter, the important thing is that Lucas is all hers for the rest of their lives.
was she nervous that she would mess up their marriage and everything would blow up in ashes. yep. but despite her fears and anxiety, she couldn't wait to see what future holds.
"wifey?" Lucas called to her
'who? me? am I the wifey?'
"hey" Lucas kissed her nose. "are you okay?"
"yea, I just can't believe all.. this. we actually just got married. feels surreal"
"I guess dreams do come true and my dream is me and you forever."
"me and you forever" Grace agreed before Lucas pulled her in a ravishing kiss that blessed her soul.
"I know I'm shy and inexperienced but I'll try my best to be the husband you deserve.
"you're all I could ever wish for" Grace said honestly.
"and so are you"
this is bliss, family and friends gathered to genuinely celebrate the dream. she longed for. Grace and Lucas forever.
The End \(*^*)/
A/n: this is the end of Miss White Lotus and her crush but it's also the start of a new year.
let me tell you, I wasn't really invested in writing this book as I should have been; it is my first book after all, instead I was lazy and I procrastinated a lot but no more; this year, expect an improved and more dedicated writer and please read and enjoy the new books I will be writing.
thank you all,
love,
burntkuki.
