Uncomfortable Position

In the carriage, Lucifer told the coachman the name of the next ville, which was quite far away. The rain had lightened slightly, but the raindrops still blurred the windows, which were open now so Daphne could look outside.

It also seemed like the window could be pulled open, but it would not be a smart decision to do so with all the rain.

After the carriage started moving and left the manor, Daphne noticed that they were going into forest land. Bludsville was situated on one side of the forest, which was where a lot of elves lived. On the other side was Crysville, the next ville they were going to.

The Devlin family lived there.

The dirt ground of the forest was very bumpy, and Daphne pressed both hands onto the chair to maintain her balance.

For the next hour, they rode in silence as none of them spoke. Daphne looked out the window, her body facing Lucifer but she did not look at him.

On the other hand, Lucifer was not embarrassed or hesitant in the slightest way to stare at her. For practically the entire hour, he stared at her as if there was something he was trying to read on her face.

Once in a while, she would look over at him, wondering why he was still looking at her, and when their eyes met, he did not hide or look away either.

He was like this. Maybe it had something to do with the way he was raised or his identity, but he was not scared or embarrassed of anything, and when their eyes met, he even smirked slightly.

After a few seconds, she would look away, wondering what was going on his brain as he continued to look at her. She looked out the window and in the hour, the rain stopped once and started again lightly.

They were in a deep forest, and all she could see was trees as the sky slowly darkened. There were a few small birds that would fly by occasionally, but it was rare to see any other living creature as they traveled through the bumpy road.

After a very long time, Daphne looked over at him again, wanting to ask him how much longer the ride was. She had no way to tell time, and even though time moved very slowly, she could guess that it had been at least an hour already.

When her eyes moved over, she saw that Lucifer was still looking at her with a hint of a smile, his arms resting on the edge of the carriage seat, leaning back comfortably. His long legs were spread wide apart and he looked like a king sitting on a throne, looking at her.

Daphne brought her attention away from his legs and opened her mouth to ask her how much longer they had to stay here, but before she could, the carriage suddenly came to an abrupt stop.

The motion was sudden and Daphne had rested her hands on her lap, so the sudden stop caused her body to fling backwards to the front of the carriage.

The abrupt halt did not seem to affect Lucifer at all, but he was quick to react when he saw Daphne falling back. Before her head could hit the edge of the carriage, Lucifer quickly reached his long arm out, grabbing onto her flinging hand as he pulled her back.

The carriage had stopped moving and Daphne was suddenly pulled forward again. She lost her balance and her bottom slipped off of the seat as she fell forward, falling directly into the devil's arms.

She gasped, wanting to thank him for pulling her back so her head would not hit the wooden edge, but when she looked up, she saw him grinning triumphantly.

She narrowed her eyes, looking at the position they were in.

After he had pulled her in, she was now practically half kneeling half sitting right in front of him, his entire body squeezed between his opened long legs. Her arms hung onto his upper body, trying to pull herself up. Meanwhile, Lucifer had his arms wrapped around her waist, supporting her in this awkward position.

He seemed very pleased with himself to have pulled her into this position, and he had no intention of letting her go. Daphne tried to straighten her legs and move away, but Lucifer continued to hold a strong grip on her, lifting her up slightly so the very edge of her bottom was on the inner thigh of his right leg.

Daphne frowned, trying to move once again, "What are you doing?"

She saw the devil smile as he looked down at her and their eyes met, "I like this position. Let's stay in it."

Then, he adjusted himself slightly so Daphne was right in between his two legs, supporting herself by grabbing onto his clothes in front of his chest.

"Well, I don't!" She tried to move but he had closed his eyes and looked like he was resting, obviously not paying attention to what she was saying anymore.

The carriage finally started moving again and the devil continued to close his eyes. With nothing else she could do, Daphne tried once again to leave but his arms only tightened even more. She looked out the window, her heart skipping a beat when she saw a human-looking creature but with large and pointy ears.

It was for a quick second and then the next second, the carriage had gone by and the creature was gone. From the color and the way it looked, Daphne guessed that it was an elf, but she couldn't be sure. As she continued to look out the window, she did not see anything else.

It seemed like nothing had happened as the carriage continued to move, and the coach man did not explain why he had suddenly stopped earlier either.

Daphne thought back, not sure if it was her brain playing tricks on her, but she thought she had heard the word "witches" earlier when the carriage had stopped. She couldn't be sure.

After a few seconds, Daphne could not maintain this awkward position anymore as it was very uncomfortable, so she tried to move once again, not away this time but up. Lucifer still would not let go of her.

She continued to inch upwards, but as she moved, she suddenly felt something in between his legs, right about where her knee was at the moment. Her knee was at an awkward position, pushed upwards as she tried to move up to sit somewhere.

She stopped immediately as her eyes slowly glanced at the area, making sure she was not overthinking. However, there could only be one thing at that place for a man.

At once, Daphne's face flushed red as she pressed her lips together, too afraid to move anymore. Her right knee was right up against it and even with the pants acting as a barrier, she could roughly feel how big it was, which scared her.

She didn't think devils would have. . . it too!

She gulped, slowly looking up. Seeing that he was still asleep, she let out a breath of relief, but her peace did not last long, for once she looked back down, she suddenly heard a deep and slightly hoarse voice say, "I told you not to move."

Her eyes darted up just in time to see him open his red eyes. Lucifer had not been asleep at all this entire time, and he looked down at her shocked round eyes with a faint grin.

One of his arms let go of her waist and he placed his long arm onto the back of the carriage seat again, stretching his neck out in an unnecessarily sexy and seductive manner as he said softly in a coaxing manner, "Now, now, my baby girl, get your beautiful leg off of there if you don't want something to happen."

With his head still pointed up, his eyes lazily looked back down at her, the corner of his lips turning up further, "Of course, I wouldn't mind 'it' happening."
