Enchanting The Devil

At the door of the manor, Zagon Black, Aurora, Calanthe, and Calanthe's mother were at the door, greeting the guests that came in one by one.

All the guests wore extravagant clothing, revealing their social status. When Lucifer and Daphne arrived, Lucifer stopped a few feet away from the door, standing there, looking like he was not going to join them.

Daphne thought that he could not go with her, since she was not part of the Black family, and she tried to pull her hand away from his, "I can-"

However, Lucifer continued to hold onto it tightly, looking back at her in confusion, "What are you doing?"

"You should go greet the guests. I can go inside first," Daphne offered, wondering why Lucifer looked so confused and slightly angry.

Lucifer frowned, grinning slightly as if she had said a joke, "Why would I want to go greet the guests with that group of people? I have much better things to do with my time."
