IT WAS ALL A DREAM?

I open my eyes. I am a squirmy wormy. All wet. Shut up! That was a dream? So livid? So real?

I groan in frustration. Daddy is not here. Penny is not here. The damn needle is still attached to me.

I still can't believe that was a dream!

My hand smarts. Where the fuck is the doctor?

I realise I am so frustrated that I am not in my headspace any more. I am about to shout out for daddy when I come up with a plan.

Daddy is not here. Penny is not here. No nurses. No doctors. Why don't I just take the damn drip off myself? I slowly use my left hand to remove the tape in my right when someone catches hold of my hands. I look up startled.

"What the hell do you think you are doing Sansa?" daddy says looking super mad.

"I.... I... umm... I am hungry." I mutter nonsense.

He secures the tape back again.

"I will, fucking tie your hands to the bed if I see you try that one more time." he says menacingly.

I am so scared. Before I can stop myself tears start falling off my eyes.

I want the daddy I was dreaming of!

Daddy's Pov

What a fucking jerk am I?! I scold and scare my baby girl when all I ought to do right now is comfort her and make sure she gets well really soon.

She starts crying.

"Hey, hey baby girl. Daddy is so sorry." I touch her and she flinches and jerks away from me.

"Go away. No talk to daddy." she turns around not wanting to look at my face.

"Hey, sweetie, I wouldn't ever do that... I said that because I got mad... I am so sorry." I try again but in vain. She refuses to look at me, let even talk.

Penny comes inside giving me a- what did you do now look! I shrug. I panicked. My baby can't do that! What if she hurt herself? She had a lot of blood loss. Her body needs all the extra blood and saline now.

Penny hugs Sansa. Great! Who needs me now?

"Oh you have such a bad daddy Sansa. He leaves you alone and scolds you too." Penny says and Sansa remains quiet, but stops crying. She listens to her carefully.

"We will not cuddle with daddy and not let him feed you ice creams anymore, okay? " she says again. Sansa looks like she is about to say something but stops.

"And you miss, will definitely not snuggle daddy and sleep in his arms, okay? We will send daddy..." Penny says and before she can complete Sansa says... “no no, I love daddy. No go daddy."

"Really? You love me?" I ask. She looks at me and nods shyly.

"Come here, baby girl..." I pull her in a hug and kiss her.

"I love you too baby girl " I say.

She is safe in my arms, close to my heart.
