Thoughts Of…I 22A

The parent free house was not the first of its kind in so many ways. But it is in one, the children had never been alone together for however long this will be. The longest they'd had alone together was a few hours. Never a whole day. Tate and Tom chose to do what they knew best. Music and games. They both took the floor in front of the tv playing their games with music killing the sound of the game. They had connected Tom's laptop to the tv and used controllers. With one week only, they chose not to take any game consoles. Sawyer too was in the living room, watching them play and giving comments and laughing at stupid moves.

"Why don't you play with us instead of commenting?" Tate offered.

"No. Enjoy your game."

"You haven't played with us in months mate." Tom pointed out.

"Two months." Sawyer corrected. "Have you tried asking Raina?" He suggested.

"She's got this project she's working on. She's too busy."
