14:47. They were all up and moving around the house. But no one had seen or heard from Sawyer. All three of them in the kitchen taking their lunch and Tate just had to ask. "Where is Sawyer? Did he go out?"

"He's in his room." Raina told them what she knew. While wondering why he went in hours ago and didn't come out, If he knew she saw him and why he left the living room in a mess.

"This is your fault." Tom blurted out, taking a fork.

"What?" His accusation stunned her. "How?" Her forehead creased.

He faced her and said, "You already know why he's all banged up. And if I knew he didn't want to tell anyone, I wouldn't have told you."

"How did you know that's what they were talking about anyway?" Tate asked.

"I just did." Tom shrugged. "There's nothing bigger worth arguing about. Lecturing him about the benefits of telling you. You should have left him alone." He walked past her, heading for the dinning room, plate in hand.
