Two days of being back home and now he has to be here. Fun Palace. A place of as expected, fun. Games galore. From video games, arcade games and everything in between for people of all ages. He hasn’t been there in years, no one he knows has been there in years, why will they choose this place? He and Tom where seated at a picnic table, one of the very many scattered around the arcade section, music blaring, all sorts of noises; from the screaming of excited players to the sounds from the machines.
“Why are we meeting them here?” Sawyer gave up and just had to ask. Their seat put them in view of the entrance where they would come in.
“I don’t know. But it’s not a bad idea, I haven’t been here in ages.” Tom stated.
“No one over fourteen comes here. Would you advocate for hell if they want us to go there?”
