In the last two days, Sawyer continuously found himself baffled by the fact that he’d brought his notebook with him. When Marvin said a few days on the phone, it was the first thing to come to mind and the last thing he packed in. Baffled as he is, he doesn’t have a problem with it. In Marvin and apparently Darin’s apartment, Sawyer looked around the bedroom Marvin had left for him, his bedroom.
There were pictures of his sisters and mom in different corners of the room, more so of Sadey than Lacey, which was rather unexpected for the ever smiling sociopath. Truly he thought the unpredictability stopped with Lacey but apparently it runs deep. Even to the grandparents and- what the hell, that was a shocking story. Sawyer shook his head at the memory, smiling in disbelief. How can he tell him that so freely? He looked down at his closed book.
Marvin knocked on the slightly open door and said, “Are you asleep? Can you eat?”
