10 - Part C:

While we were heading towards the mall, I notice that people are staring at us. The stare that they gave off doesn't seem to be the same stare wherein a local sees a foreigner but a stare of someone who's really pissed. I have experienced those type of stares before but this one seems to be in a whole new different level. It's like they hate us for just being here.

What's that all about?

"Something on your mind weirdo?"

Looks like Wren noticed that I was in a daze.

I must be paranoid.

"Nothing..."

I shrugged her off.

"Hmph! Whatever weirdo!"

She said while looking unsatisfied.

Well, if they decided to gang up on us, we can just beat the crap out of them. Not to mention that Wren is so freaking strong. She could probably beat them all up by herself without the help of brainwaves.

We arrive at the nearby mall called Spectral Mall and head towards the gardening specialty shop which is located at the ground floor. As we enter the gardening shop, a female shop assistant who's wearing the shop uniform which looks quite a bit too flashy approaches us.

"Good afternoon dear customers. How may I help you?"

The shop assistant said with a smile.

Wren answers her.

"We don't need any help. We came here to look around."

"Is that so? If you need any assistant, please don't hesitate to ask."

"Will do!"

After that, the shop owner return to her post.

Although Wren was quite a bit rude, the shop owner still smiled at the end.

Now that's what you call customer service!

"Hey Wren, isn't it better to ask for some assistance so we could get the stuff we need right away?"

I suggested.

"Just shut up and follow me weirdo! Also, stay here maidbot!"

I could understand that Wren doesn't like asking help from others but why does she want Louise to stay behind?

"I have to decline your order young mistress since my master has ordered me to accompany the young master."

Though gramps told her to accompany me but I didn't expect her to follow me around wherever I go. What will happen if I need to go to the comfort room? Although Louise is a maidbot, she looks exactly like a girl so it will be embarrassing.

Wren stares at Louise for awhile.

"Fine! Just don't talk!"

Wren and her absurd orders...

"As you wish young mistress."

Maidbots are really obedient huh...

First of our agenda, the pottery section.

"Wait a minute! Do we even need this?"

I blurted out.

"Shut up weirdo!"

She refuted me.

After that, she starts looking around.

She picks up a fancy looking green vase with a diamond pattern in the middle.

"What do you think weirdo?"

She asked while showing me the vase.

"I suck at art so I don't know what to say."

I wasn't really trying to shrug her off.

I seriously suck at art.

"You're useless."

She insulted me and puts the vase back.

Her insults don't offend me at all since I'm already used to it.

After that, she picks up another vase which is a pink transparent one with a 3D diamond pattern all over.

"How about this weirdo?"

She asked and shows me the vase.

"Like I said, I suck at art so I don't know what to say."

I repeated.

"Just tell me if it looks good or not!"

She said angrily.

Why does she want my opinion so badly? Ah whatever! I'll just say that it looks good.

"It looks good..."

"How so?"

Great more questions.

So how will I answer this? I know! I'll just say some random crap.

"The transparentness of the vase looks exactly like a freshly baked crysalium bun that was recently taken out from the oven five seconds ago. That's why it looks good."

"Crystalium bun? This vase is a clear transparent one you weirdo! How can this look exactly like a freshly baked crystalium bun!?"

She does have a point. A crystalium bun looks like a big gumi candy after all.

"Sorry I suck at art..."

I apologized.

Wait! Why the hell am I apologizing?

"You're really useless! Hmph!"

She said and puts the vase back.

"Yeah I'm really useless. You should have brought Eri instead."

I retorted.

"Shut up!"

She said angrily and walks away.

After that, I follow her in pursuit with Louise.

The next stop, the tools section.

Then again, do we even need this?

All the tools we're using during our club activities looks brand new after all.

She silently checks out the giant scissors.

As she did, I notice a very familiar giant scissors. I took it out incidentally and show it to her.

"Hey doesn't this look exactly like Eri's giant scissors?"

As I said that, Wren suddenly burst in anger.

"Shut up! Stop talking about Eri!"

"Okay..."

That was weird.

I put the giant scissors back.

After that, she went towards the water can and I follow her.

She picks up a fancy looking water can with three heads and inspects it thoroughly.

"Hey Wren why does it have three heads?"

I stated my curiosity.

"Why should I answer you?!"

She refuted me.

"Alright then. I'll ask Louise instead."

I said and turn towards Louise.

"So Louise why does it have three heads?"

I asked.

"According to my database, the reason why that water can is designed that way, it is because that-"

"You can water three plants at the same time! Happy now?!"

Before Louise finished her explanation, Wren quickly interrupted her.

"Thanks for the info."

I thanked her.

"Hmph!"

She said and looks away.

What's her problem? Did she woke up on the wrong side of the bed today?

Maybe she's experiencing that monthly thing.

She puts the three headed water can back.

So she's not gonna buy it after all?

After that, she left and headed towards the seed section. We followed her in pursuit.

This I understand. She probably wants a new variety of flowers.

She inspects the packets of seeds one by like some kind of critic. She must be picky when it comes to plants. Or maybe she's picky in general. Who knows? I only see her during class and club activities, so I couldn't really say if she's picky or not. Looks like she already found what she wants. She grabs a packet of seeds and shoves it to me.

"Hold this!"

Wren said and returns to what she was doing.

She's not done yet?

I look at the packet of seeds to see what kind she got.

It was a red flower with a fat stem and some vines that looks a bit like tentacles sticking out from the ground.

What the hell is this a mandrake from some RPG?

I pass the packet of seeds to Louis.

"Hold on to this.

"As you wish young master."

She took the packet from me.

"Hold this!"

Wren who got another packet of seeds said and shove it to me.

After that, she looks for more seeds.

Then again I look at it to see what she get this time.

It's a red rose with a stem that looks like a body of a woman with wings.

Yup! Another weird looking plant. If this goes on, the observatory deck will end up looking like a freak show.

I pass the packet of seeds to Louis and she took it.

"Here this is the last one!"

Wren said shoves the packet of seed to me.

I look at the last packet of seed before handing it over to Louise. It's an orange sunflower with a gorilla's face on the bud.

What a scary looking flower. Wren really has a strange taste for flowers.

After that, she went to the chemical section where they display the pesticides and liquid fertilizers. It didn't took long for her to find what she wanted and takes a bundle of purple liquid fertilizer as big as an eye drop and shoves it to me. As usual, I pass it on to Louise and she took it. Looks like we're done here. We went to the counter to pay for the stuff.

After that, we left the store.

As we were outside, I ask Wren a question.

"So Wren where should Louise drop off the stuff?"

"At the shack in the observatory deck."

She answered me.

"Alright Louise do the honors."

I said to Louise who's carrying a paper bag full of the stuff we bought.

"As you wish young master."

Louise replies and walks away.

Next up is the arcade huh.

I send a group message to all my classmates except for Wren.

Tooroo*

I heard someone's phone ringed near us.

I look towards where the sound came from and it was from an outdoor cafe near us. As I did, I saw two familiar faces.

"L-Linel what a coincidence!"

"So you two decided to go here as well."

It was Aeris and Ace.

Suddenly I received a text message from everyone.

I read them all one by one.

"Looks like everyone's here at this mall."

I said out loud.

Bvvvt*

I receive another text message and it was from Lokki.

I read it...

"The arcade we're all going to meet is on the fourth floor."

I said out loud for the rest to here.

"Let's go then."

Ace answered.

We all make our way towards the arcade.
