V2 8 - Part C:

I dispersed the compressed air on my right fist and stood up.

Woosh*

After that, I turn towards the person who said that.

It was a cute- No! Cute is not the right word to describe her.

Gorgeous is the right word.

Anyway, this gorgeous girl has pink long hair with curly tips and blue eyes.

She seems to be two or three years older than me and gives off a bossy aura.

Not Brea or Wren type of bossy, but a whole new different type of bossy which I haven't encountered before.

Anyway, she's wearing a black blazer with a red arm band that is wrapped around her right arm that says student council president instead of the standard uniform which is a white blazer or a black multi-purpose combat suit.

I have seen her before a couple of times during assemblies but it's my first time seeing the student council president up close.

As I recall, she's in her third year according to gramps.

Behind the student council president is a bunch of students wearing a black multi purpose combat suit who are carrying a stun baton and a handgun.

The difference of their suit from the one I'm wearing is that, there is a green glowing letters on their right arm that spells "Prefect".

The student council orders the two to stand up.

"Quit lying there and get up you idiots!"

As soon as the two heard that, they quickly get up and stand straight.

I guess they're scared of her.

The student council president talks to them.

"How embarrassing! Two third year students gangs up on a first-year student and ends up getting their ass kicked instead. I wonder what the whole school will think about that or would you like three weeks of detention and community service? I give you three seconds to decide which one you want."

She starts her count down.

"One..."

"Wait wait! It wasn't our fault!"

"Two..."

"He-he started it!"

"Three..."

"W-wait!"

"Times up!"

The student council president approaches the two.

After she approaches them, she whispers to them with a smile on her face.

"Since you two idiots can't decide for yourself, then I will decide for you. I'm sure you will enjoy it."

I couldn't hear what she said, but I'm pretty sure it's something scary because the two guys look like their going to piss their pants any second now.

The student council president backs away from them and gives out an order.

"Escort them to the detention cell."

"Yes mam!"

The prefects responded and takes the two guys away while pointing a gun at their head.

In my point of view, this looks exactly like a scene from a military movie where two of the high-ranking officer who turn traitor got arrested.

After the two guys and prefect left, the student council president and I are alone in the Dormitory entrance hall.

The student council president walk towards me.

As she was near me, she talks to me in a playful manner.

"So you're the rumoured mega playboy that everyone's talking about. Now that I see you up close, you're actually cute. Now I'm interested in you."

"Okay..."

I said while I'm all flustered.

I can't help it when someone like will call you cute and interested in you.

She continues talking...

"So mega playboy or should I say Linel?"

"Linel is fine."

I told her to call me by my name since "mega "playboy sounds really awkward.

"Alright! Linel then! So Linel, what are you doing all the way out here when your supposed to be in the infirmary doing support duty? Hmm?"

She asked while she looks at me intriguingly and rubs her chin playfully.

Is she interrogating me?

"I give you three seconds to answer."

"What?!"

She starts her countdown.

"One..."

Oh crap!

"Two..."

How will hell do I explain myself with all this pressure?

"Three..."

Damn it!

"Times up!"

I give up.

"Now, since you wont give me an explanation, I will assume that you got bored performing your duties and decide to join in the war."

I try to explain myself.

"Well it's not like that-"

"No worries! Your wish will be granted."

And she ignores me.

Wait a minute! What?

I decided to ask about it.

"My wish?"

"Now off we go to the infirmary!"

And she ignores me.

After that, she walks away without even making sure if I'm following her or not.

But I feel like that there's invisible leash on my neck which drags me to follow her.

Must be because I'm curious on what she said about granting my wish.

Infirmary...

As we enter the infirmary, everyone stops what they're doing as soon as they see the student council president.

After few seconds of standing and now everyone's attention is on her, she starts her speech.

"Ehem! As you all know, our school is not that big compared to other military academies."

Frankly, this school is huge for me to the point that it took me almost a month to know my way around.

"Because of that, we are small in numbers compared to our enemies and gradually we are decreasing. At this rate we will lose this war."

She looks like a whole new different person compared to when she was talking to me earlier.

Does she have a split personality syndrome like Maple?

"Now, I want all of you to join in the cause and teach that bastard who insulted all of us a lesson! Are you all with me?"

That was a one hell of a speech.

Now I'm motivated, and I don't mean sarcastically.

I really mean it.

Everyone gives a war cry as a respond.

"Huraah!"

"Good! Now for the plan..."

The student council president divide us into to teams according to our abilities which I don't know how she knew about that.

As a result, I was put into the infiltration team and made leader.

"Wait! Hold up pres!"

"Please, call me Queen."

"Queen?"

"That's my first name."

(Note: The student council president's name is Queen Avalanche.)

"Right... Anyway, why am I in the infiltration team and why was I made the leader on top of that?"

"It's because you have potential."

"If you're talking about potential, Ace will fit the picture as leader better. Besides, she came from a family of assassins."

"Hey! How did you know that?"

I ignore Ace and continue.

"So I think Ace should be the leader."

"Don't ignore me and answer me!" (Ace)

"Logically speaking, Spades would fit better as the leader of the infiltration team since she's calm and has a lot of experience but I want you to be the leader."

"Why?"

"Because I'm interested in you."

Suddenly, I felt a murderous intent around me.

"Now that's settled! You better do a good job so that you'll become more popular with the ladies!"

Suddenly, she approaches me from my right side and whispers to my ear.

"And maybe I might even fall for you."

I'm not sure if I should be flustered or scared since the murderous intent that I felt earlier became a lot stronger.

After that, she backs away and slaps my back before I could even react.

Wam*

My barrier is reduced to 99%.

"Don't disappoint me now!"

After that, she walks away and left me to deal with these "bad asses."

Silver Wing Academy Central...

Three exhausted students who are fending off a horde of enemies on the escalator that leads to the third floor are reaching their limit.

One of the three who's a tall and muscular fourth year student wielding a Gun Saber states his complain.

"Damn it! Where are the reinforcements?"

The cool looking glasses wearing fifth year students who's wielding a plasma saber with a purple blade refutes him.

"Less complaining, more fighting."

"Easier said than done!"

The tall and muscular student returns his refute.

"Look, Yuka is doing her job without complaining. You should learn from her."

The cool looking glasses wearing fifth year student said and the tall and muscular fourth took a glance at their female companion who is a third-year student who's busy fending off the horde with her MBP 16.

Pepepepew* Pepepepew* Pepepepew*

The tall and muscular fourth year student accepts defeat.

"Yeah yeah!"

And tries his best to fend off the horde.

Suddenly, something fly and smashes into the middle of the horde which send a couple of them flying.

Boosh* Bam*

"Woah! Dude! That was awesome!"

The trio set their gazes towards the boy wearing a bonnet carrying booster sword who's in the middle of the horde.

"Who the hell is that?"

The tall and muscular fourth year student asked.

"Uhh.. Reinforcements?"

The their female companion answered him.

Suddenly, several plasma daggers with a bluish green blade fly towards the enemies and slashes a couple of them.

"Hey Zack! Don't just fly off without warning like that!"

The trio set their gazes on the boy with layered black hair who is shouting from the floor bellow.

"Sorry dude!"

The boy wearing a bonnet apologizes.

Soon after, a gust of wind from behind the horde send several of them flying.

The trio look towards the person who did that and saw a tall and beautiful boy with semi long blond hair who's carrying a Gun Saber.

He smiled playfully and starts groping the enemies butts.

"Hey there muscle head! You seemed to have a nice pair of buns."

He said to them in a flirting manner.

After that, more students from the Silver Wing Academy start flooding in.

"This is our reinforcements?"

The trio asked themselves.

Silvertech Space Station 15 Central Plaza...

Five Silver Wing Academy students are being surrounded by massive numbers of students from the Rising Phoenix Academy students.

What happened to the rest of the students of the Silver Wing Academy?

They got exhausted and the enemy used that to their advantage and defeat them.

The defeated students were carried off by the repairbots.

The five student who are surrounded still have some fight left in them so they didn't show fear and just glare at them.

"Fire!"

The student who seemed to be the leader of the front line shouted.

The students of the Rising Phoenix Academy obeyed and start firing their guns.

Bang* Bang* Bang* Ratatata* Ratatata* Ratatata* Bagoom* Bagoom*...

After consecutive chains of gun shots, the leader tells them to stop.

"Hold your fire! Hold your fire!"

The student of the Rising Phoenix Academy obeyed him and stop firing their guns.

As they did, they saw something strange which left them dumbfounded.

The five students who are hit by countless barrage of bullets are unscathed.

Even the five students from the Silver Wing Academy find it strange as well.

The commander try to find out what's going on by drawing his handgun and firing it at the five students.

Bang* Pew*

He did, the rubber bullet hits an invisible wall and bounces off.

He saw that, he couldn't believe his eyes.

"What the hell is this!"

The leader expressed his thoughts.

Suddenly, countless fire bolts start raining down on the Rising Phoenix Academy students along with a barrage of bullets and particle beams.

Boooooosh* Ratatatata* Ratatata* Ratatata* Pshoooo* Pshoooo* Pshoooo*

"Booyah!"

The boy with spiky blond hair screamed from the top of his lungs while firing his machine gun.

"Die! Die! Die! Die! DIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEE! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

As a girl with short brown curly hair screamed in a frenzy while firing her beam rifle.

A beautiful girl with red twin tails charge towards the enemies with her ignost spear while her whole body is on fire.

(Note: Ignost spear is the weapon that Wren used during Vol. 1 chapter 4.)

For some reason, this girl really looks angry.

"That stupid weirdo getting all chummy with that girl! Aaaargh!"

The girl with red twin tails said to herself angrily.

A beautiful mature girl with long dark blue who's watching the girl with red twin tails from the sidelines mumbles to herself.

"Sigh! I wish Linel would pay more attention to her highness's feelings."

Rising Phoenix Academy Entrance...

(Linel)

Here we are at the entrance sorting our plan.

"So here's what we're going to do. We will ignore the enemies around us and only fight the ones blocking our way. That way we will be able to reach the principals office. Any questions?"

Favion (Maple's right hand man) raises a question.

"What will we do if we're surrounded?"

I answer him.

"We beat the crap out the guys blocking our way and run like hell."

"How about if we get ambushed?"

"We'll use the same tactics."

"So in other words a hit and run?"

"Yup."

"What will we do with our pursuers then?"

"Ignore them."

"What if they catch up to us?"

"Then beat the crap out of them!"

"I don't think that's wise."

What the hell is with this guy?

Does he have a grudge against me or something?

"I think Linel's plan is awesome! It's simple and easy to understand."

Sophie said cheerfully.

Thanks for the save.

"If you ask me, I think it's a reckless plan. We should plan carefully and not running in blindly."

And Favion just have to say what's on his mind.

"We're not running in blindly! Besides, we have Kana here who can pinpoint the exact location on where the principal's office is."

I refute him and everyone turn their gaze towards Kana who is idly fidgeting with her cell phone.

"I can't see your point."

Favion points out.

Well, I can see why he thinks that way but Kana can do a lot of unimaginable things as long as it's related to technology.

That's why I asked her to join our team in the first place.

Strangely she agreed without questions asked.

So I ignore Favion's remark and ask Kana a question.

"So Kana, have you found out where the principals office is yet?"

"It's on the top floor."

She answers without looking at me.

"Okay..."

So she already found out where the principal's office is huh...

If so, what is she doing?

I decided to ask about it.

"So what are you doing right now?"

She stops fidgeting her cell phone, looks at me and fix her glasses in place while answering me.

"It's a surprise."

After that, she continues to fidget with her cell phone.

Knowing Kana, she's probably doing something crazy so I'll just leave her be.

"So anyway, there you have it. Where not running in blindly."

"That doesn't change the fact that your plan is still reckless."

This guy...

"Now now! I think his plan is great. Besides, it's faster that way. So relax! You're too serious for your age. Girls don't like serious boys you know!"

Feini the only upperclassman in our group said like a big sister who's scolding her little brother.

"For an upperclassman, you sure are irresponsible."

"Why you!"

Feini squeezes Favion's head with her fist out of anger like a big sister trying to punish her little brother for reading her diary.

Brea did that to me a lot of times before so just watching her do that brings back the horrible memories.

I doubt Favion would feel a thing though because of the barrier.

So to end this "debate" and not waste any more time, I ask the last person who haven't voice out her opinion.

"Hey Ace, what do you think of my plan?"

Ace thinks for a sec and answer my question.

"Let's see... Just like Favion said it's reckless."

"I see..."

Maybe I should think of a better plan after all.

"But it's more interesting that way."

I couldn't help but to react.

"Huh?"

"Now then, let's execute the plan shall we?"

Is she messing with me?

Anyway, because of Ace, Favion gives up opposing the plan.

Now then, time to execute the plan.

"Now, on the count of three, we will run in there as fast as we can till we reach the principals office. No matter what happens, we should stick together.

I said while pointing at the entrance leading to the insides of the academy.

Everyone (except Kana) nods in responds.

I start the count down.

"One.."

...

"Two..."

...

"Three!"

We all run towards the entrance.
