V3 2 - Part C
After supper which one of the weirdest meal I ever had well because, Sophie made the food like zombie brains, monster innards and human remains which made everyone grossed out except for us three since we know what the food is made out of and it is definitely normal except for the strange sausages that I cooked earlier, we went to the Control Center to do a draw lots of our destination.
Maybe that’s what made the spaghetti look like tiny purple intestines.
Despite the looks, the food taste fantastic that’s why it is the weirdest meal I’ve ever had.
I guess Sophie is one hell of a chef.
Better yet, a chef from hell.
Anyways, since I’m technically the owner of the ship, I was in charge of doing the draw lots.
Better get this over with.
I place my hand inside the box and just grab a random piece of paper.
After that, I unfold the piece of paper and read the destination to everyone.
“Last Vega? As in the casino space city Last Vega?”
All of a sudden, everyone start talking among themselves.
“Alright! Who wrote that?”
“Last Vega? Interesting...”
“Booh-yah! Now that’s what I’m talking about man!”
“I’ve always wanted to go there.”
“Dude! Last Vega is so awesome!”
“Meh! Been there and it’s so boring.”
“Hey Maple? Doesn’t your family own Last Vega?”
“Yep! That’s why it’s so boring.”
“The Free Family’s home base is located at casino space city Last Vega in case you haven’t heard.”
“I bet there are ghosts in there!”
“Last Vega… The city of sin… How Delightful.”
“Didn’t Luna had a concert there few months ago?”
“Yes she did. In fact she wore a Black Jack Dealer outfit in her concert which is so cute! ”
“As I recall, she had a concert at the Roulette Stadium.”
“Isn’t there a dress code over there?”
“Yeah! Everyone who goes there should wear something fancy otherwise you wouldn’t get pass the space port.
“Does our school uniform count as fancy?”
“Are you serious Kana?”
“Your highness, you look incredibly excited. Perhaps you’re the one who wrote that?”
“Me? Of course not!”
“Alright everyone! Quiet now!”
Everyone quiets down as a respond to Ms. Leane.
After everyone quiets down, Ms. Leane speaks.
“As you all know that there’s a dress code in Last Vega where in you have to wear formal clothes. So if you don’t have any right now, now is the time to get one while were still in Sagittarius space city.”
All of a sudden, Favion raises his hand which caught Ms. Leanne’s attention.”
“Yes Favion!”
Favion speaks up.
“Pertaining the formal clothing, the Free family can provide that.”
“By Free family you mean the Free Mafia right?”
“Yes! Exactly.”
Ms. Leane mumbles to herself.
“Well we do have Maple with us so I guess the Free Mafia wouldn’t mind lending us. Maybe I should ask Diana to pull some strings as well.”
Then Ms. Leane suddenly shouts.
“Alright! You all heard Favion. The Free Mafia will be providing us with the clothes so we don’t have to go looking for one. Now then…”
Ms. Leane turn towards me.
“Let’s depart now Linel.”
“Uh… Yeah!”
I approach Kana and whisper to her.
“Uh… Kana?”
“What is it?”
“Can you do that for me? Apparently, I don’t how to operate this ship.”
Kana fix her glasses in place before answering me.
“Understood.”
Kana went towards the middle of the room and I followed her.
As we reach the middle of the room, Kana taps on the tablet and the words enter the ship’s name with a textbox bellow it.
Beside the textbox is a button that says “Submit”.
She taps on the textbox.
After she taps on the textbox, she looks at me.
She’s probably telling me to enter a name.
Since I don’t have any name in mind, I ask Kana if we can skip that for now.
“Can we skip that for now?”
“Understood.”
She said and taps a little icon on the top right.
After that, a notice pops out.
I didn’t bother reading it because well, I don’t really care.
She taps on the yes button and the screen proceeds to the home screen.
In the home screen, there’s the status of the ship with life bars at each parts which is most probably the HP (Hit points) of the ship in the middle, an icon that shows the percentage of fuel we have at the top right which is still at 100%, two buttons at the bottom right that say “Battle mode” and “Manual Pilot Mode” and a menu bar on the left.
Kana taps on a button at the menu bar that says “Destination”.
After that, the middle part of the screen changes into the map of the galaxies that are part of the Universal Treaty.
At the top right of the map is a search box.
Kana typed Last Vega on the search box and press the enter button.
After that, a little star on the map starts glowing red and the screen zooms into it.
As it zooms in, a realistic model of Last Vega appears.
After that, Kana taps on the model of Last Vega and a notice appeared saying that “Do you want to set Last Vega as your destination?”
Kana tap on the yes icon and after that, a lifeless electronic voice is being played.
