V3 4 - Part C:

As soon as the game started, everyone turn towards us and points there weapons.

“Guys? What is going on?”

Lokki whispered.

“I think they’re trying to get rid of the small fries.”

I said my opinion.

“Dude! That is so like bad right?”

Zack reacted or rather asked in an unsure manner.

“Ooh! This looks like a scary situation!”

Sophie said excitedly.

“Now is not the time to get excited!”

Lokki scolds Sophie.

“What she we do then Mr. Genius?”

Sophie asked.

Lokki turn to me.

“Uh… Linel? Any idea?”

What should we do in this situation?

There’s only one thing we should do.

“We should make a break for it.”

I answered.

“How?!”

Lokki asked.

I took a quick glance at our surroundings to think up of a way to get us out of this situation.

There are not many people towards the left exit.

I guess we make a break for it there.

As for the bullets and plasma beams and probably atomic synthesis as well flying towards us, I will synthesize a crystal wall wide enough to cover us.

We need some cover fire as well.

I’m pretty sure Louise could handle that.

She’s a freaking super maidbot after all.

Anyways, after I thought of a plan, I told them the plan.

After discussing the plan, everyone gave me a silent nod.

One of the guys who’s pointing his weapon at us which is an assault beam riffle, talk to us arrogantly.

“No hard feelings kids. Blame it on society for being a bitch!”

After that, he pulls the trigger and everyone who have guns pull their triggers as well.

Rumble* Pepepepew* Bang* Bang* Ratatatatata*Chechechechew* Chuchck* Bang* Chuchck* Bang*

Before they were able to pull the trigger, I was able to synthesize a crystal wall wide enough to block the shots.

As for our blind spot which is the side pointing towards our exit, Louise jumps in, takes out her dual plasma blades and slashes the incoming bullets and plasma beams.

Voomvoomvoomvoomvoom* Pew* Pew* Pew* Tsk*

As the gunshots subsided, we make a break for it towards the right exit while Louise executes a high jump and blast her particle beams towards the guys who are behind us.

Pshooo* Pshooo* Boom*

After she shot her particle beams, she rushes towards the enemies with her plasma blades.

We could hear screams and insults from the guys that are being attack by Louise.

As we are running towards the exit, we take out every guy who is shooting at us and blocking our way.

I synthesize dozens of crystal shards, and Lokki throws them at the enemies using brainwave manipulation.

Shshshshshsh* Pew*

Sophie, who currently has the gun, retaliates at the enemies who are shooting at us.

Bang* Bang* Bang* Bang*

As for Zack, he runs at full speed and tackles anyone who gets in the way like a bulldozer.

“Heads up dude!”

Thud* Thud* Thud* Thud*

The guys who got knocked over by Zack falls down like a bunch of bowling pins which I find hilarious.

The guys who are carrying plasma weapons rushes towards us.

For the guys who rushes towards Lokki, he uses brainwave manipulation to lift their weapons up high in the air and make them fall down towards them like rain.

Voooom* Tsk* Tsk* Tsk*

After that, he took two plasma sabers using brainwave manipulation and use it for himself.

As for the guys rushing towards me, I synthesize a compressed air ball made up of helium on my right hand.

After that I throw it at them.

As the compressed air ball reaches them, I ignite it by vibrating its molecules from the insides.

As a result, the air ball exploded like a grenade.

Boom* Booooooosh*

Not only it exploded like a grenade, a gust of wind mixed with fire blew them away.

The guys who got caught up in the explosion turned into a blue giant egg like thingy.

I don’t have time to think of how they turned into that and kept on running.

As for the guys rushing towards Sophie, she shoots them with her gun and some lightning bolts.

Bang* Bang* Bzzzt* Bzzzt*

As for Zack, no one could keep up with him so they ignore him and head towards us.

After we beat every single one who got in our way, we finally reach the exit.

As we did, I told everyone to split up and meet up again somewhere later sine there are still some crazy mob at our tails.

Everyone agreed and start running at different directions.

After running for a while through some maze like alleyway, I was able to lose my pursuers.

Finally! I could catch my breath.

I sat down on the floor in order to take a breather and try to assess the situation.

So we’re in this war game where allies could beat the crap out of each other.

What should we do next?

Fight or commit suicide and wait till the game is over.

The latter sounds the reasonable choice but I’m too frustrated to do it.

I rather fight to blow some steam rather than to wait and get bored out of my wits.

Alright! I’ll do that!

I stood up from the ground.

As I did, I just remembered something.

I should text the others first on where we should meet up and then we bust some heads.

So I took out my cell phone and text the others.

As I did, I saw a notification that I have received 27 messages from Ms. Leane.

I read one of the messages, and it says to go back to the spaceport immediately.

Well too late for that.

Now then, time to text the others.

Wait a minute! Where should we meet up?

Hmm… This alleyway seems safe, so I guess this place would do.

I exit the message app and open the map app.

After that, I tap on the menu icon and press on the share location and a bunch of option pops out.

I tap on the message app which is one of the options, and the screen goes to the message app.

Then I put Lokki, Zack, Louise and Sophie’s name on the address box.

Then I tap on the text box and start typing my message which is to meet up at these coordinates.

While I was typing my message, I suddenly feel an eerie presence coming from behind me.

I look behind me and saw a flash of orange light.

I synthesize a gust of wind bellow me which propelled me up high in the air out of reflexes.

Wooooosh*

As I was up high in the air, I look down to see what that flash of light was.

As I did, I saw an orange vertical particle beam wave pass through where I was earlier.

Voooom* Crackle*

Woah! If I didn’t jump, I would got hit by that.

While I was descending towards the ground, I saw a shadowy figure with a curved orange plasma blade heading towards me.

Tap* Tap* Tap* Tap*

Out of reflexes, I point my right hand towards the ground and synthesize an explosion which propelled me up high in the air once again.

Boom*

When I reach my peak and look down, I saw a shadowy figure jump out of the smoke and zoom towards me.

Voom*

As the shadowy figure gets close to me, I was able to see who it was.

It’s the girl with long reddish brown hair and bright red eyes that Lokki and I were checking out earlier.

The girl is holding some kind of plasma weapon that resembles a scythe.

Since it was too late for me to dodge so I decided to face it head on and tackle her.

I synthesize compressed air on my left hand and point it backwards.

As the girl readies her scythe to slice me, I squeeze the compressed hair to pop it which results into an explosion of gust of wind which propelled me forward.

Pak* Woosh*

My actions surprised the girl and she immediately puts the scythe on front of her like she was in a guard stance.

As I was about to collide with her I immediately grab hold of the rod part of the scythe, positioned my two feet on it.

As my feet is placed firmly on the rod part of the scythe, I use her as breaks as well as transfer my momentum to her by stomping on the rod.

Thomp*

As I did that, I stopped moving forward made her fly towards a nearby building.

As she was flying towards the building, she immediately positions herself to face the building and point the tip of her scythe where the circular device is at

All of a sudden, the blade changes its shape from a scythe to a pointed tip of a spear.

When she was about to collide towards the building, she does a forward thrust with her now plasma spear and stabs the building.

Voom* Tsss*

As she stabbed the building it created the a shock wave which created a massive crater and shatters all the windows of the side of the building on where she stabbed.

Shatter*

After that, we both fell towards the ground.

I synthesize a gust of wind bellow my feet to cushion my fall while she just gracefully fall towards the ground and lands softly with a small tap of her high heels.

The only explanation I can think of on how she was able to pull that off is that she is a brainwave user like me.

She must have used atomic synthesis or brainwave manipulation to be able to land safely like that.

Anyways, as we were both on the ground, I ready myself for another attack by going into a fighting stance.

As for the girl, she suddenly turns of her weapon which now just look like a metal rod with a circular device tip and drops it on the floor.

After she drops it on the floor, she raises her hand like she was surrendering or something.

As I recall from uncle Huck and Mr. Eagle’s classes, when an enemy does that all of a sudden, they have an ulterior motive.

I didn't let my guard down and talk to her.

"So, mind tell me why you suddenly attacked me?"

I know that is a dumb question since I know she attacked me because of the event that is going on right now but well, dumb questions can lead to more insight just as what Ms. Diana have said.

"I was just testing you if you would make a suitable ally."

The girl who still have her hands up answered.

"And?"

I asked in order to inquire further.

"That's all there is to it."

She answered.

"Then what if you have successfully ambushed me and was I taken out?"

I asked like I was interrogating her.

"Then you are not a suitable ally."

She answered honestly.

"I see..."

I responded indifferently.

"So what do you say? Do you want to join forces with me?"

The girl asked.

"You do know that I wont fall for your tricks right? You will definitely strike me down once I let my guard down."

I pointed out to her.

I won't fall for her tricks and I know the moment I let my guard down, she will definitely attack me which is exactly what I would do if I was cornered.

"If you don't believe me, then here! Take my weapon."

As the girl said that, the metal rod that was lying on the ground floats and mid air and slowly fly towards me.

She must have used brainwave manipulation to make her weapon float like that.

As I saw that I put my guard up even more getting ready for a surprise attack.

As the rod was in front of me, it stops moving and just float in midair.

"Take it!"

She insisted.

I cautiously took her weapon while preparing myself for a surprise attack.

As I took the weapons nothing happen but I still had my guard up regardless.

"If you still don't believe me, you can pat me down to see if I have hidden weapons."

She said to me which surprised me.

Is she serious?

Does she know asking a guy to pat her down can lead to unforeseen accidents like me accidentally touching something that I'm not supposed to be touching?

That is not a bad proposal...

Wait! This is definitely a trap!

She will definitely attack me ones I let my guard down and pat her down.

I definitely not fall for it.

"You think I'm an idiot don't you? You will definitely-"

Before I was able to finish my sentence, she suddenly appears on front of me.

"Crap!"

I let my guard down!

Then, she suddenly grabs my left hand.

I tried to resist by dropping the rod that I was holding with my right hand and attempt to push her away.

As I let go off the rod, she immediately grabs my right hand.

I knew it! It was a trap all along!

What now? How do I escape from this?

If I try to struggle and try to break free she will definitely do something.

How do I get out of this? Electric shock? Blow her away with a gust of wind? Synthesizing an explosion?

I can't think straight on what to do since I'm panicking right now.

"..."

"..."

Nothing is happening.

"Aren't you going to pat me down?"

The girl asked with a serious face.

"Huh??"

I reacted dumfoundedly.

"Don't worry! You have my consent. I won't sue you or let alone suddenly attack you. You have my word!"

She assured me and forcefully place my hands on her waist with her brute strength.

I gotta say, she is most probably as strong as Wren.

"Go on! Pat me down. I wouldn't blame you if you accidentally touch me inappropriately."

She encourages me and let go of my hands and raises her hands up.

"Are you serious??"

I asked while still being unsure of the situation.

"Yes! I'm serious!"

She responded to my question with a serious face.

"Alright! If you say so."

I started patting her down while trying to avoid the temptation of touching her assets.

"If you do end up touching me inappropriately, you have no choice but to become to marry me and become my husband."

Her sudden remarks caught me off guard and I couldn't help but to react.

"W-what???"

The girl smiles and giggles.

"He he he! I'm just joking I couldn't help but tease you since you are so tense right now."

"Right..."

I don't if she is being serious or joking right now.

Maybe she is joking but right now my brain couldn't comprehend her right now.

I continue to pat her down in search of hidden weapons while trying my best not to touch her assets.

After I was done, I took a step back from her.

"So, now that you have patted me down without me showing any resistance or hostility, do you believe me now that I want to join forces with you?"

She asked.

Well, she haven't done anything to me and she definitely have plenty chances of striking me down while I was patting her down so I'm convinced that her proposal of teaming up is genuine.

"Alright! Let's team up!"

I said and let my guard down and as i did, she approaches me and start tidying my clothes which made me dumbfounded.

I couldn’t help but to ask.

“What are you doing?”

“I’m tidying your clothes.”

She stated the obvious.

“I can see that but why?”

“Because it was my fault that it got messy in the first place and besides, you look more handsome with tidy clothes.“

I dunno if she is complementing me or mocking me right now, I do not have the energy nor brain the power to think about it.

I just let her be.

“Okay…”

After she had tidied my clothes, she took a step back and apologizes.

“I apologize for all the troubles I have caused you.”

Since her apology was sincere, I accepted it.

“No worries! That's all water under the bridge now.”

“I’m truly sorry.”

She apologizes again.

“Like I said, no worries and besides, in this messed up game, allies could become enemies so I don’t blame you for doing what you have done and besides you had plenty of chances to finish me off earlier but you didn't so I trust.”

I said to ensure her and picked up her weapon that is lying on the ground.

After I picked up her weapon, I hand it over to her.

“You’re truly kind.”

She complemented me and takes her weapon.

I thank her for the compliment.

“Thanks I guess?”

All of a sudden, I felt an eerie aura at the direction behind me.

I turn to that direction and synthesize an air ball made up of helium and get ready to throw it at whoever shows up.

“Let me handle this.”

The girl said and walks on front of me.

When she was on front of me, she turns on her weapon.

Pshooo* Voom*

What was once a black metal rod is now turned into a plasma scythe.

Then she places the plasma scythe of her right with the blade positioned at her back and turned towards her sides like she’s about to execute a vertical slash.

After the plasma scythe was positioned to her liking, the circular device which is the tip starts spinning and her blade starts glowing brighter than before while particle beams start shooting out like sparks.

Tsssssssssssssssss* Tsk* Tsk*

Is that the flash of light I saw earlier?

As a bunch of shadowy figure pop out at an alleyway on front of us and the blade of her plasma scythe is glowing brighter than ever, she executes a vertical slash.

Voom*

When she did, a vertical beam particle wave is created.

The vertical beam particle wave rushes towards the shadowy figures.

As the vertical beam particle wave hits the shadowy figure, it exploded.

Boooooom*

The shadowy figure was pushed back by the explosion and were turned into a bunch of red giant egg like thingy.

“There are more coming. It’s best that we run and eliminate them later on once we have the upper hand.”

The girl said and turns off her plasma scythe.

I agree with her.

“Yeah! Let’s do that.”

After that, we run towards the other direction.

As we’re running, a bunch of guys carrying guns and plasma weapons pops out from an intersection to our left.

I grab the girls hand out of reflexes and synthesize a gust of wind bellow us to send us up high in the air.

As we were higher than the buildings, I execute a 360-degrees turn and throw the girl at a nearby roof.

As the girl approaches the roof, she lands safely.

As I confirmed that she landed, I point my hand at my back and synthesize a quickly synthesize a nitros oxide booster to push myself towards the roof that she landed on.

Boosh*

As I landed on the roof, I execute a roll so the force of the impact would go to the floor and not on my feet.

Although I won’t feel a pain even if I didn’t roll, I do not want to lessen my barrier’s life any further.

As I get back up on my feet, the both of us start running on the roofs like ninjas.
