The Boy Behind The Red Door

It was as if there were butterflies in Lesley's stomach as she made her way down the hall to Bangs' room. Her heart beats with excitement as she walks towards the ward with the red door. She comes here every day but only now does she feel such excitement and joy. 


Even at school earlier, she was caught spacing out several times by her classmates. All because she can not stop thinking of Bangs, or should she call him Kieran? 


When she reached his ward, she tried to hide the smile that had been squeezing her lips since she arrived at the hospital. She does not want to look weird in front of Bangs when he sees her smile for no reason. 


She finally opened the door and walked in. "Bangs! I'm here—" 


She could not continue to greet him when she saw him unconscious on the floor. Without hesitation, she stepped inside the yellow line and knelt in front of Bangs, then she slowly pulled back the long hair that covered his face.
