Jeff Boston is a successful musician who goes out in search of his sister who was falsely accused of murder and was later found to be innocent. With the help of his fiancee-Tricia and secretary Ian, he is able to trace Emma but upon arriving in Los Angeles, where she resides , finds out that she has lost her memory and undergone plastic surgery.
 He also finds out that she currently lives as Marina Daisy, a well renown actress. The two meet each other countlessly and start afresh as friends with Emma not remembering anything about Jeff or her past. 
 Eventually, Emma's friendship with Jeff soon turns into love. Jeff feels it is an abomination to get married to his sister but doesn't know how to explain to her that she is his sister without causing any more damage to her brain by trying to make her regain her memory. The wedding soon gets called off as Emma regains her memory due to a fall and plots revenge against Jeff. For this purpose, she comes to California. Jeff also returns to California as all his efforts to bring Emma back home and reconcile with her is proved futile.
After a robbery is committed which makes Jeff lose almost half of all his funds, Jeff suspects Emma. He lambasts her and decides to cut off all ties with her. Later, he finds out Emma is innocent but is too late to apologise as she returns to Los Angeles. Emma decides to give up on her quest for revenge against Jeff. Todd, Walker's brother, who has been having Emma followed from the time she came to California arranges an accident for Emma all because she proved that Walker was the robber. He uses his car to hit her car and tries to flee the scene but is caught red handed and arrested.
Meanwhile, Emma is rushed to the hospital and goes into a coma but when she wakes up sees Jeff by her bedside. The two apologise to each other and happily reunite.

Finding Emma

When I woke up, I saw Emma bending over me nervously. She waved her hand and asked softly "Are you okay?". She then called her assistant who was standing by the door and said "Call the hotel doctor now". She looked towards me and sighed. "Thank God you're okay. I was worried. I decided to come visit you so I asked the receptionist for your room number. She was reluctant but knowing I had no ill intentions agreed. When I came, I saw you lying on the bed sweating and murmuring. You had a high fever so I called the doctor and he administered some medicines. Get up and have breakfast now so you can take your medications." I was so touched by this heart felt speech. "Thank you", I whispered.


     She patted my head and said "Well that's what friends are for". The hotel doctor came to check on me and said I was alright, it was just stress that had caused it. After breakfast, I went to freshen up and decided to take Emma out for a treat. We went to the best amusement parks and I took her shopping for different outfits and bags. Later, we went to a fancy restaurant to have dinner. I really enjoyed those fun moments with my sister.


       People who saw us together actually thought we were a couple. An old lady approached us when we were getting ready to leave."You two are a sweet couple. I hope you find happiness with each other". Emma blushed while I muttered under my breath "She's my sister you moron". 


    Emma took me back to the hotel and even escorted me back to my hotel room. "Goodnight.", she said and walked away. I smiled and entered my room but was shocked to the core when I saw what lay on my bed. Wrist watches, perfume and shoes were all over. Just then, I spotted a small note attached to one of the perfume bottles which read "Thanks for being a true friend. I hope you feel better now. Love from Marina." I smiled and put all the gifts on the couch. That night, I slept peacefully with a smile on my lips. 


      The next day, I decided to pay the old couple a visit. On my arrival, Mr Daisy offered me a cup of coffee but I declined and cleared my throat. "I'm here on business so no need for formalities.", I said coldly. They stared at each other blankly. I continued "You have to tell Marina.. I mean Emma that she is my sister. I have to go back to running my business in California and I'm not leaving without her. So, I suggest you hurry things up". 


           Mrs Daisy burst into laughter and said " Impossible! Do you think for a second that she'll forgive you even if she remembered you and just follow you back to California like a little puppy? You are mistaken. Two, you can't take our daughter away from us. You threw her out of your life six years ago. Now, you want her back just like a toy. You use the toy get tired of it, dump it then go back later to play with it. That's how you treated your sister.  Three, the doctors said not to stress her unless you want her to land in hospital again". 


    I was raging mad at this woman and i expressed it "You abducted my sister. You lied to her and she doesn't even know that. Imagine how she'd feel that you've been lying to her this whole time. Two, I didn't treat her like a toy. It was just an honest mistake. Three, nothing will happen to her and she won't end up in hospital. Listen here old lady, I don't have time for your stupidity this morning. Marina's my sister and...", I didn't finish because I was interrupted by Marina. "I'm your sister Jeff?"....
