Lu Yizhou took no break in between and arrived in Lingyan Sect when it was late into the night, which was fortunate because there were no disciples walking around and saw the way he shakily landed on the area just outside of Sect Leader Ling's peak. Lu Yizhou chose to forgo his sword and climbed up the hill instead. The air was cold and the mountain was shrouded by faint mist. Lu Yizhou was certain that the scenery would have been breathtaking with the clear stream running down the slope, rows of trees lining and small animals like squirrels and rabbits frolicking around. Alas, he was preoccupied with smoothing his messy hair to care — he hoped he no longer had long hair next time — and arrived at the top of the peak in the usual Jingxue-Jun's neat, pristine appearance.
