Jillian had prepared himself. Truly, he had. But he still froze in his tracks as the wintry gray sky disappeared above his head and he was suddenly transported into a small, antique wooden cottage. A big window welcomed him as soon as he regained his bearings, streaming in morning sunlight and overlooking the green, calming scenery of a lush forest.
At first, Jillian didn't register the continuous wet, squelching sounds and the heavy grunts and gasps. But as soon as he lowered his sight to see two figures entangled atop of the bed, his eyes instantly fell as wide as saucers and his arms fell limply on his side, causing his thick coat to fall to the ground with a soft thump.
