Shudders erupted along Moshe's spine, sending tingles to the tip of his toes up to his scalp, rendering it numb. His blood was roaring beside his ears. There was too much information in that one sentence that Moshe's brain couldn't catch up to it, especially in his current position.
He was certainly the one who held the gun, the one who had Aiden's life firmly in his grasp, but why did he feel like he was the one whose life was hanging on a very thin thread?!
