2000 Years ago in Ancient Greece. 2 Witches Brother and Sister created an spell. 

Used it on Brother first and he became immensely powerful and had to be taken care of.
So the Sister takes help from Qetsiyah and Silas for locking the brother up and put him to sleep. 

Then in current time this story takes place when Elena and Caroline were attending college and The Originals where in New Orleans as Witches had Hayley and Klaus's baby. 

Jackson a high school guy and an Ancient Vampire known as Alden who wanted Jackson so that he could make Jackson the weapon to open the tomb in which Arius was locked.

Elijah and his other vampires were searching for katherine in the woods for klaus. One of Elijah's vampire's was his friend. His name was Alden which is also know as 'Wise Protector'. Alden was the one who saw katherine as a vampire for the first time and told Elijah.


One day Elijah and Klaus were talking about a Witch, "Elijah, we need to know for sure if what that witch say's is true." said Klaus while panicking, "I dont believe anything a Witch says for a second."says Elijah.


 "Brother, don't worry I will find out if this myth is even 1 percent true, and if it is, we will have to forget katherine for a while." says elijah while stummering in his words. "So, you want me to forget about something I want for a long time, I want you to know one thing. I will find Katherine with or without you but I will. You go and search if this myth is true." said Klaus with anger and fear at the same time in his words. 


Alden didn't hear much but when he asked Elijah he told him everything he and klaus were talking about because Alden was also most trusted vampire of Elijah. Throughout the centuries Alden and Elijah scoured a lot of kingdoms trying to find a myth but they got nothing but disappointment. 


When Michael came searching for his 'scourge' his 'abomination'. In order to find Klaus , Michael started destroying villages and started killing Klaus's vampires and Elijah's Vampire's as well. Michael had both the power and the means to destroy the entire Kingdom alone. Alden barely saved himself and started searching Elijah to warn him; but Elijah already knew Michael came, so with his brother he started leaving the kingdom. 


Elijah ran away with his brother, then for the first time Alden saw the weakness in The Originals. Alden left never came back even after centuries passed and even when Elijah was calling him. So, Elijah send him a letter saying,


I want you to know I understand why you are not coming back to me. I am not going to apologize for leaving you behind. I did what was right in the name of family , but I am writing this letter to you because I want you to know the 'myth' we were searching for a long time ago its not a myth, it's real. Don't even think of telling klaus about it because now he is infused with rage to unlock his full potentials. Burn this letter after reading." 


Alden stummers and falls from his feet because he knows what myth Elijah was talking about and then he said to himself in mind,"END IS NEAR."
