(3rd POV)

"How's his condition?" Bogard asks the ship doctor impatiently.

Bogard felt a sense of responsibility toward the two children as he was the one who decided to take them to the ship.

"He's fine, he just passed out due to severe pain." The Doctor guarantees Bogard about the kid's health.

"Thank god" Bogard sigh in relief hearing what the doctor said.

Shuraiya, the kid they're talking about, slowly open his eyes and saw the bright light produced by the lantern.

"ugh....where am I?" He asks as he tried to sit up but failed due to his weakened body.

"Don't move kid, your safe now." Bogard rushes to Shuraiya's bed and guarantees him.

"Urgh....who are you mister?" Shuraiya asks with a weak voice.

"I am Bogard, a marine." Bogard simply introduced himself.

"A marine?!! what happened to the village? is everyone safe?" Shuraiya's eyes widen remembering his village as he asks Bogard with a hopeful voice.

"...Im sorry kid, we're too late," Bogard said with a sad and guilt tone.

Tears formed in Shuraiya's eyes as he hugged Bogard tightly and cried in his arms.

"It's okay kid, just let it all out." Bogard comforted Shuraiya while patting his back.

They stayed like that for a while before Bogard break the silence.

"Oh yeah I have good news for you, when we found you we also found a baby with you, do you know her?" Bogard asks Shuraiya about the baby he was holding.

"You mean Adelle? Adelle was alive?! Where is she?? I wanna meet her!!" Shuraiya's eyes shone and bombard Bogard question by question.

"Relax kid, you'll meet your sister when you're fully recovered." An old crude voice was heard from the door direction, they turned their head and saw Vice-Admiral Garp.

"Garp-san!" Bogard exclaimed seeing Garp looking at him with a playful smile as his face turned red.

"Bwahahahaha." Garp just laugh seeing Bogard's face as another person enter the room

"I'll suggest if we first let the patient rest." The ship Doctor said and walk outside as the other two follows.

Shuraiya was left alone in the room as he lay on the bed, in deep thought.

'It's real! It's all real!!' Shuraiya thought remembering him he dreamed of.

'Garp, Bogard, Marine, My world is just like one piece!!!' A crazy idea pop-out of Shuraiya's head.

He remembers the other 'Him' in his dream watching an anime called one piece, which is like his world!!

'If it's real then.....' Shuraiya opened his palms and stared at it remembering the wishes he makes to the old man.

Currently, Shuraiya doesn't have any idea how to test his wishes so he didn't dive deeper into it.

I tried to get out of bed and to no avail fail due to my weakened legs.

'Hayss...I better rest to recover quickly' Shuraiya has no choice but to compromise to his weak body and take asleep.

Shuraiya soon fell asleep and was detected by Garp and Bogard who had been observing every move Shuraiya makes.

"You have a soft spot for children huh Bogard?" Garp didn't let Bogard go because as soon as they exited the room, he started teasing him and has no plan on stopping.

"I'm still young to be married!!" A red tint was plastered on Bogard's face as he misunderstand what Garp said.

"I'm not the one who said that Bwahahahaha." Garp stated.

|8 hours later|

"Uwaahh!" Shuraiya yawned after waking up and stretches his arms.

He gets off the bed and went straight to the door.

"You're have awaken kid!" "Wassup kid." "Good morning kiddos"

As soon as Shuraiya went outside he was welcomed by the marines who were busy doing their own stuff.

"Hello everyone!" Shuraiya said back to the sailors then releases a cute smile.

Having nothing to do, Shuraiya strolls around the ship, looking at every corner possible.

"Waah!!" He felt someone grip his collar and lift him in the air.

Garp appeared out of nowhere and drag the poor kid to the training ground.

"There is no slacker on my boat!" Garp stated as he drops Shuraiya on the floor.

"aw aw aw" Shuraiya rubbed his butt as it hurts due to the fall.

"What's your problem, old man?" Shuraiya complained looking at Garp with annoyed eyes.

"Train." Garp didn't mind the child's rudeness and simply said with a serious tone.

Shuraiya moved his sight all over the training ground, observing every piece of furniture and tool available inside the room.

Shuraiya wasn't dumb, he knew how important strength is in this world where the strong eat the weak.

Shuraiya clenched his fist remembering the unpleasant memories as his eyes get filled with determination.

"When do we start?" Shuraiya asks eagerly to Garp.

"Now bwahahahaha," Garp said and laugh.

Shuraiya's first training was doing 50 push-ups for 5 reps with 10 minutes break for each rep.

Shuraiya was having it easy on the first rep while in the second he slowly started to feel tiredness wash over his body.

In the third, his body was sweating nonstop.

In the fourth, he was already gasping for breath as he was close to completely exhausting his stamina.

In the last rep, Shuraiya all could do was rely on willpower alone.

He felt giving up but continued persisting and as soon as he finishes that last push-up, his whole body immediately collapses and instantly falls asleep.

"This kid....not bad." Garp complimented Shuraiya's willpower and determination to get stronger.

From the very beginning, Garp was observing Shuraiya trained sitting from the very corner of the room eating his favorite rice cracker.

Garp's eye shone seeing Shuraiya as he sees a rough diamond waiting to be carved into a beautiful shiny one.

He shook his head in disappointment sensing the source of Shuraiya's willpower.

'Revenge won't bring you anywhere' Garp commented sensing the fire of anger and revenge in Shuraiya's heart.

Garp walk toward the exhausted child and lift him in a princess carry style and went straight to Shuraiya's room.

Garp gently put Shuraiya down and covered half of his body, from feet to waist with a blanket and immediately left not to disturb the kid anymore.

"Don't be drowned in anger and hate kid." Garp mumbled before leaving the room.
