Scared

" Diana, don't go anywhere." Sam commanded.

" What? So we'll not dance or do anything? We came here to enjoy ourselves. Come on Sam." She said as she waved her hands in the air in dismissal.

" I know. But, I think everything isn't right." Samantha said through gritted teeth as she pulled her friend's hand.

" No," Diana whined as she sat on the chair.

The ex-right-hand woman could tell that everything wasn't right. She scanned the club and realised people were dancing, screaming and singing along with the music.

The group of four men approached Sam who pulled Diana's hand. She stepped before her, to protect her friend.

" What is happening," Diana grumbled as she swayed her legs, too drunk to stand in a straight posture.

" Shut the hell up! Our lives are in danger." She whisper-yelled. Her grip on Diana's hand tightened which made the fragile girl who was not used to fighting hiss in pain.
