It's been four days since Lucifer stayed in the room with Laurel but she was showing no sign of her waking up, the first day was normal cause after he had supposedly 'revived' he expected her to wake in the second or third day.

The second day came and Laurel was hit with a high fever that confused the devil but he knew he didn't have to worry.

The third day was normal cause the fever disappeared but she hadn't woken up and then there he was on the forth day steering at the girl who was steadily breathing but unconscious.

He walked near the bed and touched her forehead, 'her temperature is normal', he thought, smiled and left the room for his chamber only to see Beelzubub waiting for him.

"Beelzubub", Lucifer called charging right towards his brother, "How was the wat with the vampires and witches", he asked lifting his chin.

"It went according to plan", Beelzebub responded calmly while he bowed his head and went back to steering at Lucifer.

"I guess you found out!!", the devil exclaimed while a smirk made way to his face.

"Yes I did, why didn't you tell us she was alive".

"Hmhm", Lucifer chuckled and steered at the Lord of flyers before he said, the soul of the guardian angel has been tainted by evil".

"Lucifer a guardian angel's soul can't be tainted, can it", the second devil retorted while turning to leave the room.

The corner of Lucifer's face pulled up and he said, you are too young to understand but you should know, a war is coming and we are going to win and and with that Beelzubub left the room.

Lucifer sunk into his chair before his golden eyes flickered red, he stood up and walked near a table filled with different colored liquid in test tube.

After mixing a red and blue liquid together he brought up a yellow and black scale with another strand of hair.

The devil added the ingredients and a bad smell spread through the room, he had added the scale of dragon, black with the strand of hair of a guardian angel and the stale blood of a lycan to his blood and only him knew what he he would do with it.

"What!!", Nicholas exclaimed.... "What do you mean 'my mate", he asked slumping deeper into the couch.

"Selene was here and she had promised me, Toran Alston with a small smile plastered on his face.

The second in command, Beta Nicholas who was on the chair suddenly had a mysterious grin on his face and he walked towards his Alpha.

"Do you know you are old, you are six centuries old, "Do you really need a mate", asked the beta with the grin on his face.

"The pack needs it Luna you idiot, the alpha steered and snapped. "Sometimes I wonder how the beta flows in you, my gamma us more mature", came the blunt from Toran but it didn't seem to hurt the beta.

"Exactly you know, am the only fun jovial beta in the whole realm", taunted the beta and a loud growl was sent to his chest.

"Arghhh", he winced and held the chair and his chest.

Toran sat on the chair still focused on the file but the beta of his had a running mouth and it mad him mad to the extreme, he had sent a growl to the beta and mind link took place.

[Why don't you just keep quiet], mind linked Toran to Nicholas.

[Am just so full of life and am jovial, dude am still a pup let go].

[You are three centuries old]. replied the alpha who let the tension somehow lessen.

[Still a pup alpha, now you have to understand something].

[What's that?], replied Toran.

[You have to tell your parent to stop the selection of a partner for you], came the reply from the beta. Toran nodded and steered straight at the beta.

[Get my gamma] he said and stopped the growl that kept erupting in Nicholas's chest.

I still need all the bouquet the alpha said out loud and went back to the file he was work on.

Few minutes later.....

"Knock Knock".

"Come in", Toran said now sitting on his couch.

"Good afternoon Alpha Toran, came the soft calm voice from the alpha's gamma.

"Sit", the alpha said and pointed to the chair infront of him.

The beta sat and looked at the Alpha who kept smiling and tossing his head back and forth, from the looks he was curious, confused, and shy.

"am here Alpha", he said due to the awkward silence.

"I need your voice on something", he said in a weak voice bearly audiabk but the gamma got it cause of good hearing ability.

"Huhn, I don't understand", he said confused.

"I need your help", he said louder while steering at the file to block his flushing which didn't go unnoticed by the Gamma.

"With what Alpha", he asked.

"I am meeting my mate this evening and I have no clue on how to maintain woman, he said in low tone filled with sadness and disappointment.

The Gamma was two years older than Nicholas, he was not actually the gamma but he was a temporary. After the war that took Lilith life the gamma had some complications though he was taken care of his soul was tainted.

The gamma nodded at the alpha and said, Alpha no matter what condition you find yourself you just have to be yourself".

"Thank you", replied the Alpha before he stood up and said, am so excited to meet her and then he exited the office.

Unknown to the alpha, darkness lingered everywhere even in someone and he was going to save his mate from the clutches of evil to prove he had a claim on her and he would always protect her.

The devil already had plans to get the guardian angel, she held the key to something precious to him and he would not stop till he got it, he would even kill he if possible no matter the price
