"The next event is the alumni and student event." Says Ichiro.

I look at the field and am shocked myself too.
"Wait... Aren't this like military training?!?" I exclaim.
Hiroshi nods. "Yep, that's military training alright. They laid out several obstacles and we will have to get through them. The alumni's obstacle is even harder... I'm dropping out of this event."
"Same." Says Daisuke. "I haven't been physically active for a long time."
"Same." Replies Koji and Ichiro.
Ack...
That's some rough obstacles, I can see a rock climbing wall, a rope hanging from one side to another and we will need to walk to the other side on the rope and more...

"Yeah, I'm dropping out too. I'm too lazy." I say.
"The next event is the obstacle course session! Alumni's are invited to join one of the 59 groups of students to win! the prize for winning is a P6A Console!!" Says the announcer all of a sudden.

"Let me join you!" Says Daisuke and the others.
We went to register and is split into a different group.
I joined a group of students. They all look depressed and sad. As if they have no motivation at all.

I see Akane in the group and smile at her.
She glares at me and looks away.
I am just going to assume the group I joined is a bullied group.
I sigh.
Am I destined to be with the bullied?

"Hey! You guys want a free carry?" I ask the depressed students.
They look at me and tilt their head in confusion. Soon, they nod at my request in curiosity.

(Carry and getting on the bus, in gaming terms, means that a stronger player is helping a weaker player "farm" to become stronger.)
We all get to our positions in the starting line. "Don't worry. Just relax, I will get first place for us." I say to Akane.
Once I say that her anxiety seems to turn into anger towards me but that's better than being nervous. At least she looks calm now.
The alumni's have different, harder obstacles compared to the students but no big deal.
"Ready... Go!" Shouts the announcer and I immediately jump over the rock climbing wall.

Everyone gasps at my stunt.
"T-THAT WALL IS 15 FEET TALL?!?!" Exclaims a spectator.
"H-How did he?!" Exclaims Daisuke.

I run to the next obstacle, it's a dodging obstacle. There are turrets lined up and it shoots out water balloons.
What's more, I must dodge the balloons while walking on a narrow platform.
I sigh and continue running on the narrow metal platform.
The first few turrets start to shoot.
"Sword art form 2," I mumble and I borrow the power of the air, using my finger as the vessel in replacement for an actual sword.
I then slice through all the balloons before they even hit me.

"Am I seeing things wrongly?! T-The balloon is exploding before they even touch him! What's more, this phenomenon doesn't even seem to be a foul play!" Says the commenter of the event.
I look back and see my group members reaction. They stopped being so gloomy and is now engrossed in my performance, even Akane too.
"H-He is now getting closer to the third obstacle!! The rope bridge!!" Says the commenter.
Rope bridge huh...
A good hang from one side to another and you will need to get to the other side by balancing on the rope. This is normally very tough, however...
