Ashen has been in the magic academy for over two years now, yet, his magic skills remain as bad as when he first got there. He is ranked as one of the lowest magic users in the whole academy. He is constantly bullied because of this even his mates and some of his juniors boss him around.


Tired of this miserable life, he saved enough to buy himself a new and popular magical wand rumoured to improve one's magic. 


At the market, a sudden turn of events stirs him towards a different path, one that Ashen isn't convinced is completely safe and free from danger when he unexpectedly becomes the sole owner of the only dragon egg in existence.

A Gift of Fire

Without seeing any need to hesitate, Ashen grabbed the floating quill, describing his name at the edge of the paper in front of him and was already passing the quill to Green when he suddenly paused, squinting his eyes as he noticed something he didn't before.

"Of course genius, just pass the paper to me, "Green replied in a way that made it seem like he was rolling his eyes, going ahead to swipe his paw against the tip of the quill, before placing his front paw on the paper, watching it float back to Sedulla the minute they were done, while spotting a beaming smile on her face.

Waving her right hand again in the air, she made the contract disappear right before skipping to her right, which was the closest wall to her, as she began to caress the wall in a gentle way that annoyed Green and simply interested Ashen.
