Ashen has been in the magic academy for over two years now, yet, his magic skills remain as bad as when he first got there. He is ranked as one of the lowest magic users in the whole academy. He is constantly bullied because of this even his mates and some of his juniors boss him around.


Tired of this miserable life, he saved enough to buy himself a new and popular magical wand rumoured to improve one's magic. 


At the market, a sudden turn of events stirs him towards a different path, one that Ashen isn't convinced is completely safe and free from danger when he unexpectedly becomes the sole owner of the only dragon egg in existence.

A Gift of Fire

Green had only just dashed out leaving Ashen at the foot of the stairs, while trying his best to save Anared, Natal and Jamon who was strapped onto Natal'a back and slightly injured.

"Over here…," he yelled in a loud voice trying to get the attention of his friends which he successfully did as the entire attention of the monsters were also drawn to him.

Without holding back, Green began casting a spell while gesturing for them to run behind him.

Not seeing a need to keep up the pretence of him needing a wand at such an important time, Green casted a large fire spell, shocked to see it not only work, but well enough for most of the monsters his fire came in contact with to disintegrate like paper.

They weren't utterly mindless, seeing a lot of their fellow monsters get killed at once most of them, gave up the chance and instantly gave up attacking.
