Ashen has been in the magic academy for over two years now, yet, his magic skills remain as bad as when he first got there. He is ranked as one of the lowest magic users in the whole academy. He is constantly bullied because of this even his mates and some of his juniors boss him around.


Tired of this miserable life, he saved enough to buy himself a new and popular magical wand rumoured to improve one's magic. 


At the market, a sudden turn of events stirs him towards a different path, one that Ashen isn't convinced is completely safe and free from danger when he unexpectedly becomes the sole owner of the only dragon egg in existence.

A Gift of Fire

"No" Arifnon calmly replied, instantly returning the tense atmosphere to that of peace.

"I don't smell a monster here," he continued speaking, before turning to look at the entire group as a whole,

"I apologize for the error. The defensive barrier around Whitefield must be acting up for some reason, so I'll be the one in charge of personally sending you all back.

Arifnon spoke and he was barely done speaking when various degrees of happiness could be seen on the faces of the students beside him, somehow trusting that if no one else was capable of sending them home, he would be.

"Give me a minute," he unexpectedly said right before disappearing along with all the grand master's that had been behind him,
