Ashen has been in the magic academy for over two years now, yet, his magic skills remain as bad as when he first got there. He is ranked as one of the lowest magic users in the whole academy. He is constantly bullied because of this even his mates and some of his juniors boss him around.


Tired of this miserable life, he saved enough to buy himself a new and popular magical wand rumoured to improve one's magic. 


At the market, a sudden turn of events stirs him towards a different path, one that Ashen isn't convinced is completely safe and free from danger when he unexpectedly becomes the sole owner of the only dragon egg in existence.

A Gift of Fire

Heavy knocking on Ashen and Green's door was the first thing that woke them up. " Aren't you guys going to the cafeteria?" Natal could be heard shouting from outside right before Anaree stopped him from vigorously knocking on the door again.

"Maybe we're late and they've already left," Anared said with a confused expression on his face as he stared at the closed door in front of him, going as far as to put his eyes on it to see if he could make out any sound from behind it.

After a few more seconds of waiting, Anared and Natal decided to leave, and leave the questions for when they all met.

Inside though was a different story as Green was already awake but simply chose to remain lying in naked in bed, regardless of the noise that constantly filtered into his ears.

However, Ashen was a different case, considering he slept through the first and second rounds of Natal's heavy knocking only stirring awake on the third.
