I was kneeling on the ground with one knee picking up my sword from a chest of a green goblin with green blood on my cheek accompanied with a creepy smile because I was pleased with the level up.


If a normal person saw this scene he/she would surely mistake me for a psychopath murderer.


As I finished picking up my sword I brandished it to the left to get rid of the blood before sheathing it then wiping off the blood that was on my cheek using a handkerchief.


"Why does my cheeks always gets stain with blood?" I wondered before looking at the darkening sky and sighing.


"It's already this late huh?, I'll be in trouble if I don't get back till nightfall..." I pondered for a while before sighing slightly depressed. "guess I'll call it a day and come back tomorrow." I said while scratching my head as I walked away leaving the corpse of the goblin for other monsters to fest for.


I was able to hunt 4 more monsters throughout the entire day which add up to the final amount of the monsters that I've hunted to 6, which made me level up for the second time.


But honestly, it was little than I'd expected.


As I got out of the forest by following the carvings in the trees that I carved to find my way back, I stopped and stared at the clear cloudless sun that was seen clearly in this spot.


I then raised my hands towards the sun and calculated the time by positioning my fingers to inspect how much space does the sun has left before it touches the ground, by doing so I was able to know what the time was, it was one of the tricks I learned in the military it might not be very accurate but it's still very helpful.


"Hm as I thought, I don't have much time left before the sunsets," I said and immediately started my trip back with a quickened pace.


It took some time to get back to Noah considering the Y'onora forest 8 kilometers distance from here, but luckily I arrived before sundown thanks to my quickened pace.


Before I entered Noah I took off my training clothes, my sword and daggers, and coat and put it inside my storage ring leaving me with my usual clothes.


I entered Noah using the south route because it has much less security than the main gate plus it's a small forest so I can sneak in quite easily.


When I entered Noah I immediately returned to the mansion and saw Aiko putting down the laundry that was dried outside alone and it was quite many.


I walked to her to inform her that I'm back.


"Aikoo" I called her name and raised my hand.


She looked at where the voice came from while holding a laundry.


"Ah! Sir Laiya, welcome home." She greeted me while bowing with both hands in the middle of her skirt locked together like a proper maid.
