There is no meaning in his life besides that, nor would there ever be any in the future. He is living only for revenge.

No one knew this better than Alfin. Even after being hated for everything his brother made him go through, he still struggled to not appreciate his older siblings' talents and abilities. There was a reason he planned to have a better relationship with his siblings in this life even after everything he went through.
