In the mind of an NPC

Those that prayed for the players to be a one-time thing faced the harsh truth. This is the world now, these beings are part of it and will remain for a long time.


And those that had already waited for their arrival also started their actions. They started to search up places and hunt for the players, attracting them with money and power.


That was the thing though. For these people who lacked proper understanding of the mentality of these beings, they treated them like they would others. Promising a safe environment till they are given the job these people wish to do.


But players were not like this. They loved freedom and more than that, they loved the option to pursue different prospects.


In the real world term, they would be like mercenaries, but way more retarded.


Hence the reason why a huge part of players joined the mercenary union in the last timeline.


But Alfin thought, what if he could provide the same facilities and freedom to players, along with a place of their own.
