In the mind of an NPC

After seven hours of walking in the dark, Thalia noticed that something was odd. The path was not as she remembered. From her memories and the makeup of the cave, most of the paths usually end up meeting together at a singular point, as if they were handcrafted by someone.


And living underground for so long has also taught her these patterns perfectly. Hence she was not as worried after finding that her way back was blocked by the Treant.


But things were different now, it has been a bit too long and she wasn't able to find a way back to her original path.


'Something big has entered this area.' This change in environment can only be caused by a cave-in, a very rare occurrence in this underground world.


She didn't know how this cave was formed, but she was sure of the durability of its wall and ceiling.
