"Calling him a monster would be too much. But I expect him to be a colleague that has gone on the wrong path." 


"Just like you were? Haha," The old librarian laughed, but then paused. Thinking it was not appropriate to do so.


There was still a barely alive girl just in the next room to him. It would be bad if he laughed. So he went silent and got confirmation from his grandson.


"It's good that you think this way, but I don't think everyone deserves a second chance." The old librarian said. "The one who did that to her is no human, no need to treat them kindly."


"But grandpa, that did this out of ignorance and nothing more. There is no need to escalate the situation. And besides, I believe that with time and proper communication you can change a person."


The young man debated, his mind was set and he wished to believe in the goodness of an individual.
