Chapter 9

Jaxtyn was annoyed over the fact that a lady like Chelsea had insulted him, he least expected it and was shocked when he did.

As planned, Chelsea did not breathe a word to him. He had planned to punish her if she would have done so, lucky her, she knew better than offending me the more.

Jaxtyn had clearly heard what Chelsea had said, and pressing on his words asking her to repeat her sentence was a way to make sure that she is conscious of what she had said. He considered it to be a slid of I'm the tongue right now.

Grabbing Chelsea's free hand, he tried walking with her.

She resisted and caused him to stop.

"Where are we going to?" she inquired raising a brow at her.

"Are you blind or can't you see we are about going upstairs?" he asked rudely.

Chelsea raised a brow at him, it seemed like what he said was mean to her, and she wanted to talk back against it, she always has a bad tongue for people like that, but then, she didn't say anything, and at the end, she hissed allowing him to take her away.

To Chelsea, answering her client badly will only tarnish her reputation, especially cutting a whole in the percentage he is willing to offer. As a Mafia prince, who knows how much he might tip her with the next day? considering the fact that she has the whole night with him, and a chopped-off amount of money already.

She can not bear the risk of taking it more and more.

Sighing, she remembered that they had not finished working.

"What about the broken glasses on the floor? we have not finished clearing it up," she muttered.

This caused Jaxtyn to stop, walking towards Chelsea's side, he placed his hand gently on her before breathing his message in front of her.

"Your health is a million times important than a shattered bottle of whiskey. Why don't you follow me so that I can help clean your wounds up?" he inquired raising a brow.

Jaxtyn's and Chelsea's face was only separated by a thin line, their breaths intertwined and it made Jaxtyn arouse just by sniffing the lady that stood before him.

It is kind of a crazy thing to do, but he can barely react in an orderly manner, not when the bulge between his thighs grew harder as her sweet fragrance embedded lightly in sweat parted his nostrils.

He didn't care about the fact that the lady reeked lightly of sweat, it was her domain of work she had chosen, so there is no way that she is going to scent differently.

Clearing her throat, Chelsea was head over heels about what the man in front of her just said, she could barely remove her eyes from him, especially over what he just said.

Like seriously, was she worth anything?

especially when being a stripper and have men falling at your feet meant that you are the badass person, and the others the good guys?

Well, Chelsea had never been ashamed of her hustle, especially when it helped her rally so much money, and also try her best to support her father in paying her loans.

The fifth of May is fast approaching, and the earlier she does these things, the better it will be for her, she can't even wait to be the one that will hand over the money to her father to pay the loan.

Chelsea was deep in thoughts when a hand swayed in front of her face causing her to blink severally.

"Come back to earth lady, what are you thinking about?" Jaxtyn inquired staring at her quizically.

Of course, Chelsea knew she couldn't talk about it to Jaxtyn, not now nor ever. She couldn't possibly talk about him about her family problems, how they need money and stuff like that, it might be kind of weird to do so, especially when they just met. Besides, Chelsea walks her butts out these days, she knows what she wants and she is practically not letting anyone to get in her way, not now, nor ever.

Once again, Chelsea had zoomed out of the present, and her face was just a blank page filled with no emotions.

She just kept staring at no one or anything because when Jaxtyn tried shifting from one angle to the other, her eyes remained glued on one spot indicating such.

Alright, her reaction made Jaxtyn be a little worried, especially when she isn't saying anything.

"Hey dreamy head, are you alright? why do you keep zooming out on me? are you sure everything is fine?" he inquired pulling his brows up as he furrowed his brows.

It was more than him, and thus, he wanted to know what was going on.

Chelsea was tired, so exhausted from the past weeks of working excessively without rest, but then, she knew such things are always going to happen, they always do, but then, all she need to do Is to calm down.

Well, after this night, she might go home and have a good rest, and no matter when she wants it now, she will resume work.

Staring at Jaxtyn right now, she said in a sweet and sugarcoated voice,

"Yes, I am alright. If you do not mind, we can go now, thank you," she muttered.

The look on Jaxtyn's face showed that he wasn't convinced with what she said, but then, he didn't want to start a verbal argument now. Besides, it is his time he would be wasting, something he is obviously going to pay for.

Leading the way, he glanced over his shoulder blade and noticed Chelsea following him behind.

A slow and sensual smile purses his lips, he was absolutely glad, and as they walked, he made sure he constantly checked behind, hoping that she is still there.

He knew what he wanted and he definitely was going to get it. Either Chelsea, or Chelsea.
