Chapter 10

I woke up when my alarm rang. "Love, I can't be there today." I said when I called Jinah.

" My dad is here in the city. He wants me to visit him." But when I'm finished visiting him, I will call you, okay?"

Okay he said to me and hung up. I ready myself to visit my dad.

I entered the hotel where he is staying.I asked the receptionist where he is staying.

I knocked on his door. "Gi!" Hi my son!"

He hugged me gladly.

" Hi dad." I said to him, backing away.

"Come in,come in." He said entering the room.

I sit on the couch. "Dad? Why are you here?" 

" Why? This old man can not visit his only son these days?" He said as he sat on the couch.

"That's not what I meant,dad." I said. " Business trip?" You don't do business trip?" 

"Look,son. Me and your mom want a grandson or daughter." "You're not getting any younger."

"Dad!" Please, I'm not in the mood for that right now?" I said standing.

"We have this girl that we want you to meet this coming weekend. What do you say,son?" My dad says.

"No,dad. I don't want it." And you know dad..I'm not into girls." I said softly to him.

"What did you say?" You're not into girls?!"

He said confusingly.

"YOUR'E GAY!?" Shouting at me. " Yes,dad." I said. "Since when!" Senior high." I said again.

"I'm not believing this. This is not true." How?" He said.

"That's why you wanted to move away from us and hide it from us."

"I know you won't believe me but this is me,dad. I said.

"You're not mad,dad?" I said worrying.

" N-no, I..was only..you know surprised." 

He said.

"Because in my line of family,there someone who is also gay. Remember Lot?"

"Yeah," He's gay also?" I thought he was just goofing around?" I said.

"I also thought too,but in due time he called us and said that he is going to marry a guy who is a little older than him."

" Okay." Enough of that. You mean that you're only here to tell me that you and mom wanted a grandson or daughter is that it?!"

"Yes, because you're old enough to have one?" He said to me.

"I've been dating this guy for at least 2 months now." Maybe you should meet him." I said.

"Does he have a job or something?" He said as he was making a coffee.

"Yes, he has a job. A bartender. He's cute,sexy and sweet personality." I said to him as he handed me my coffee.

"Sexy?" That I want to see." He said smiling.

"When will I meet your man?" Can I see him now?" He said.

"Whoah!" not too fast dad. He doesn't know that you're in town."

"I will set a date when we will meet him,dad." I said.

"Oh, one more thing." Yes,dad?"

"Can I..?" Borrow money,again? Dad?"

"What will you spend it? Casino? Lottery? Stripper?" I said, crossing my arms.

"Hey!" What do you think you're old man for?" Cheap?" He said.

"So what for?" I want to buy this..this car." 

"A car?" Dad,you already have a car?" I said as I put the cup mug in the sink.

"Yeah,but..but there's a..kind of.." "style? Glitter? Vibes? You already said that in your car the last time you bought it?"

"Okay, I 'm just saying..?" He said sadly and down.

"How much does it cost?" $300." WHAT!" 

"That so much dad?" Make it $250." 

"$200." Take it or.." I'll take it." Jeesh why so.." he said frustratingly.

"Dad, I worked so hard for that money. I never pick it up on a tree?" I said.

"You have lots of money,you're a billionaire,right? Where is your money?" He said sounds angry.

"Yes,I am a billionaire but I invested it in real estate, malls and other things. To keep it growing." 

"Tell me dad, what happened to the business I gave you and mom?" How was it? Was it growing?" I said to him questioningly.

"You're mom handled it. It's good. She never gives me money." He said.

"Why?" She knows that you spend it on no good things,is that it?" I said.

"Yes and no,son." She told me that if I'm the one managing it..it will go bankrupt."

"Why so? Did something happen when you handled it?" I asked him.

"Well, someone borrowed money from me and it's a lot. I trusted him because he was my friend." He said.

"And?" He said that he will return the money after 2 months." 

"But after 2 months, he never showed up. I called his phone and he never answered."

"Then I realized he was now out of town."

"He never paid me." He said sadly.

"How much did he owe you,dad?" I asked.

" A lot.." What do you mean a lot?" 

"$5000 dollars." He said. "WHAT! DAD,WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!" I said shouting and frustrated. 

"Dad,that's a lot of money!" I said." Did mom know?" I asked him.

"No,she didn't know about it until now." Dad says.

"Why did you not tell her?" She'll be mad,dad?" I say.

"I know,I know." Dad,do you know where your friend lives?" I asked him.

"I know he lives in New Orleans now." Why?" What Is his name?" I asked.

"Elias Santiago. Eli for short." He said.

" Okay." I'll be going back to my office,

I will do something there. Bye dad, I will be back. I will call you later."

"Okay,son. Thank you." As he closed the door.

When I arrived at the office, I called my secretary. "Can you come over here please." I said.

"Yes,sir." He knocked and opened the door. "You called,sir." Yes, I need a favor to ask?"

"Can you find the whereabouts of a certain Elias Santiago, he lives in New Orleans." 

"I don't know his exact address." I said.

" It's okay, sir." I know someone who knows about this." He said.

"Please be discreet about it. This guy owes my dad a lot of money." I said to him.

"Okay,sir. Give me about 20 minutes." "That fast, is he a hacker?" Mm..sort of.." he said.

"Good,I owe you big time." I said. "If I pull this off, give me an increase?" He said smiling.

"Deal." I said. "Great, I'll get to it,sir." He said as he walked out the door.

The minute he walked out. I called Jinah.

" Hi,love. How's your day?" I asked.

"Gi!" Nice to hear from you. I'm okay but a little tired because there's an event here in the cafe."

"What?" You mean many men there?" But I'm not serving them around, I 'm only here in the bar with Kim."

"I'm going there,I don't want anyone to look at you or smile at you, you're only mine.Wait for me there,you hear me?".

"Oh my God,Gi don't be so possessive of me, but okay I'll wait for you here." Jinah said.

As I organize my things, I call my secretary." Kindly email me about the facts you can get.I will leave early." 

"Yes,sir." Good night,sir." 

As my limousine parked at the entrance of the cafe,flashes of cameras invaded me.

"Is that the multi billionaire Mr. Gi Min,what is he doing here?".

"Oh my God! It's Mr. Min!" The reporter says. 

As I enter the cafe, there are so many people inside. Music blasted.

As I searched for him, suddenly an arm looped at me. "Mr. Min, good to see you here?" She said. She is blond,early thirties,tall and white complexion.

"What do you think you're doing?!" As I struggle to free my arm. 

"You don't have a date,don't you?" So I will be your date?"

"Why the hell did you think that I needed a date?" I said angrily.

"A handsome and sexy billionaire like you,must have a date." She said while smiling smugly.

"I don't need.." She kissed me hungrily.

" Gi?" Jinah saw what happened. And I pushed the girl lightly not to get knocked down.

"J-jinah?!" It's not what you think?!" I can explain!" I said worrying.

" I thought you came here to find me." I thought you cared but I was wrong?" He said he was on the verge of crying.

" Please,let me explain what happened here,as I grab his arm." Please,let go of me. I have a job to do." 

"Jinah, hear me out,please." I said pleading.

"No, just go away." He said crying as I let him go.

As the event finished, I waited for him in the house I gave him.

As the door opened, I hurriedly hugged him tightly. " Please,I'm so sorry.please hear me out?" I said crying too.

"Gi, please let me go. I can't breathe. He said crying.

I let him go but he suddenly ran to his room and locked himself.

"Jinah,no!" Please,love.Hear me out!"

"I will never hurt you please." I said crying at his door.

"She came on me that time. I don't know her. She's drunk. Please believe me." I said confessing and crying.

Then lightly the door opened,I jumped to him and kissed him sloppily. " Jinah,I love you,I will never cheat on you." As I back away slowly.

He just nodded and kissed me hungrily. He moaned when I kissed his neck.

We ended up in bed. I cuddled him tightly. " Gi..can't breathe.." he said softly." Sorry love, I don't want you to go away from you. You are my world,life and happiness." I said as I kissed his forehead.
