Chapter 28

I hopped down and wished Kelvin another goodbye and good luck.

I was early so I went straight to work, Lena waved from the end of the Café holding a broom in her hands.

"Someone is up early"

Lily.

"Morning Lily" I turned and greeted her.

She was in a hospital gown and was looking crazy, desperation shone in her eyes.

"I was waiting for you" she pulled out a scalpel and rushed to me.

I dodged and she stabbed it into a crate of eggs breaking a few of them.

"Lily, listen to me" I tried to pacify her but she wouldn't listen. "Daniel wasn't in love with you"

"He would have been if you hadn't showed up" she attacked me again and I grabbed her hands shoving her backwards.

She pounced on me and stabbed the scalpel into my right upper arm, it stung like hell. Blood soiled the black t-shirt.
